Yankees Add Yet Another Lefty

It’s been the thing that we’ve been doing all year. Continually add arms to the biggest issue we have this year… the bullpen. And so, the Yankees have added another arm, and yea, it’s a lefty once again. Tim Mayza. With Enyel De Los Santos being dumped, I guess it just makes sense.

And for me it goes back to that “Lightning in a Bottle” mentality that Cashman has. Think about it, all our money is tied up in Juan Soto and so we only really are able to get some spare parts and hope it works out.

Remember when Clay Holmes came to the Yankees? I wrote THE YANKEES BLEW IT WITH THE CLAY HOLMES TRADE in June 2021 when they acquired him. He was not impressive then. Now clearly he’s had his moments of brilliance, but you guys also ALWAYS rip this guy to shreds when he blows it, which, comes often. And so, you see, I wasn’t totally wrong. This was a “Lightning in a Bottle” move by Cashman and it half worked.

The point is, how many of these are we gonna see in our lifetime under the Cashman regime?
