Zeeya Merali, in his book A Big Bang in a Little Room: The Quest to Create New Universes [Basic, 2017] suggests that modern physics, within the next two decades, may be able to concoct an entirely new baby universe, complete with its own physical laws, star systems, galaxies, and even intelligent life.
This, along with that 1945 flying saucer story about a crew-cut human hovering over a farm [see below] offers me a speculation.
What if an ingenious person or group – The Invisible Government or Invisible Capitalists – was able, as early as the 1940s, to create flying machines (flying saucers) based on technology and design that inadvertently mimics the long-reported things seen in the skies by humans?
And those machines have now developed into the splendid UFOs reported nowadays: the Tic-Tac, Go Fast, UFOs for instance?
Kenneth Arnold saw a test of these new flying machines, and Roswellians came across one that didn’t make it.
Back-engineering an extraterrestrial spacecraft is farfetchery for me, as is the ETH that proposes such nonsense. (Earth is not being visited by ETs,)
Some creative engineers, scientists, and inventors, well ahead of the usual run-of-the-mill crowd have always existed: Parmenides, Empedocles, Thomas Hariot, Athanasius Kircher, Bacon, Tesla (the physicist, not the car guy, although the car guy could be included), et al.
The 1896 Airships were inventions by men or women of that time, and evolutionary creation of those ships may have developed into cigar shaped UFOs, while some innovative types went further and developed what became flying saucers of the modern era.
There’s something going on, sub rosa, in government, here and abroad (Russia and China) and in the private arena that even overt government(s) are not privy to.
We don’t need extraterrestrials, or time-travelers, or beings from other dimensions; we have, amongst us, real geniuses at work and play, creating things that baffle or amaze.
