Covid-19 Updates: 962 Cases In My County, 9 Deaths

Numbers looked like they jumped, but I haven’t posted them in 2 weeks, so… it’s still quite a jump, but last week they weren’t getting their numbers out, so I had to skip it.

Now then… if I’m tracking this right, only 1 out of a 100 verified cases of Covid are dying in my county. That’s really good news. It’s as high as 7%-12% in some areas and Native Americans have a crazy 18% death rate. (Which makes sense because their immune systems weren’t conditioned by living in utter FILTH like white people did for hundreds of years!)

It’s mostly Norwegians & Filipinos around here, with 2 very tiny native reservations fairly close, but they’re being very vigilant.

I don’t know what phase of opening we’re at. We still can’t “dine in” yet because numbers are going up, so I think we’re modified Phase 3? (With 4 being “no restrictions.”)

Cat and I go out only when forced to (like I need to go to the credit union and to pick up my prescriptions once a month) but otherwise we’re back to being isolated again.

However, I’ve been Facetiming and VSeeing people pretty regularly, and talking on the phone as well, so I don’t feel too much more isolated than normal. I’m just used to going out more and having visitors over a lot more often, but otherwise..? It’s not too hard.

Everything ELSE going on in the world on TOP of the pandemic, though, can create days where I feel off and insecure and can’t focus– but I seem to be figuring out how to deal fairly well, all things considered.
