Almost all UFO enthusiasts (and the general public) want a sci-fi explanation for UFOs

I think our guys, Dominick and Daniel (and a few others), are among the UFO crowd who hope (and believe) that UFOs are extraterrestrial (or Sci-Fi phenomena).
 
Anything outside that category causes them to yawn.
 
Even a generic paranormal inclination doesn’t sit well with them.
 
But with all the possibilities, in our weird existence, the sci-fi belief pales when one takes into account the various unusual reports of UFOs.
 
José Caravaca offers an almost neurological explanation with his Distortion Theory or, at least, a psychic mise en scène.
 
(I’m open to an on-Earth exalted species scenario, as you know.)
 
My pal Ron is open to a raft of possibilities, open-minded as he is, and Julien seems inclined toward the “Earth-lights” theories.
 
Bryan Daum is unsettled and my theologically oriented buddy Martin may be inclined to see my thrust as a possibility.
 
The Facebook UFO groups appear mostly to be sci-fi inclined, but remain excited by the new tech approach that haunts UFO conversations nowadays.
 
And then there is a bold, new, imaginative hypothetical view hovering in the UFO ether but I’m not able to discern it or find its genuflection anywhere, but it has to be somewhere.
 
All UFO fanatics are not as facile or unimaginative as I am (and some here are), yes?
 
There has to be a view roaming the UFO countryside that makes sense and is new, unique, no?
 
Anyway, if anyone frequenting here has come across a view that startles by its logical or creative patina, let me/us know.
 
We need something to bring UFOs and ufology from out of the hands of the great unwashed, which is about to dilute the topic (and the phenomenon) with their insipid and ignorant asides, something that is better left to those of us who’ve lived and studied (enjoyed) UFOs much of our lives.
