The Exodus Of People Moving Away From California Is Becoming An Avalanche

Over the past ten years, approximately five million people have moved away from the state of California, and as you will see in this article this mass exodus appears to be accelerating.  So exactly why is this happening?  Once upon a time, it seemed like almost everyone wanted to live in California.  The nearly endless sunshine, the incredible weather, the pristine beaches and a booming economy motivated millions of young Americans to move out there to pursue “the California Dream”.  In fact, in the early nineties I actually explored the idea of moving out there myself.  But now the California Dream has become a nightmare.  Californians are being taxed to death, traffic in the major cities is absolutely horrific, violent crime and gang activity are on the rise, millions of illegal immigrants are putting an incredible strain on social support systems, and the ultra-liberal government in Sacramento seems to have gone completely insane.  In addition, the state faces constant threats from earthquakes, wildfires, droughts and mudslides, so it is quite understandable why so many people feel motivated to leave and never come back.

The number one destination for people leaving the state of California in recent years has been the state of Texas.  And according to Ali Meyer of the Washington Free Beacon, the number of people leaving California for Texas has reached “its highest level in nearly a decade”…

The number of Californians leaving the state and moving to Texas is at its highest level in nearly a decade, according to data from the Internal Revenue Service.

According to IRS migration data, which uses individual income tax returns to record year-to-year address changes, over 250,000 California residents moved out of the state between 2013 and 2014, the latest period for which data was available. The tax returns reported more than $21 billion in adjusted gross income to the IRS.

Of the returns, 33,626 reported address changes from California to Texas, which has been the top destination for individuals leaving California since 2007.

Certainly much of this exodus can be attributed to the absolutely suffocating tax rates in the state.  California has a 13.3 percent income tax, and that is in addition to a whole host of other ways that they have come up with to extract as much money out of the population as possible.

But if you really love living somewhere, most people will put up with high taxes.

To me, there are much greater concerns for those living in the state, including the fact that “the Big One” could literally strike at any moment.

According to a study that was discussed in the Los Angeles Times, a magnitude 9.0 earthquake along the Cascadia fault could potentially produce a tsunami so large that it would “wash away coastal towns”…

If a 9.0 earthquake were to strike along California’s sparsely populated North Coast, it would have a catastrophic ripple effect.

A giant tsunami created by the quake would wash away coastal towns, destroy U.S. 101 and cause $70 billion in damage over a large swath of the Pacific coast. More than 100 bridges would be lost, power lines toppled and coastal towns isolated. Residents would have as few as 15 minutes notice to flee to higher ground, and as many as 10,000 would perish.

Scientists last year published this grim scenario for a massive rupture along the Cascadia fault system, which runs 700 miles off shore from Northern California to Vancouver Island.

That is very bad news for all of those million dollar homes along the northern California coast.  Once upon a time I dreamed of a home overlooking the Pacific Ocean, but not anymore.  In fact, today I would not even dream of owning such a home.

And of course southern California is very much in danger as well.  The San Andreas fault gets most of the press, but there is actually a fault line that is far more dangerous.  According to one seismologist, the Puente Hills fault line could someday “eat L.A.” and cause hundreds of billions of dollars in economic damage…

Video simulations of a rupture on the Puente Hills fault system show how energy from a quake could erupt and be funneled toward L.A.’s densest neighborhoods, with the strongest waves rippling to the west and south across the Los Angeles Basin.

According to estimates by the USGS and Southern California Earthquake Center, a massive quake on the Puente Hills fault could kill from 3,000 to 18,000 people and cause up to $250 billion in damage. Under this worst-case scenario, people in as many as three-quarters of a million households would be left homeless.

The entire California coastline lies along “the Ring of Fire” which has become much more active in recent years.  Scientists assure us that it is only a matter of time before the state experiences absolutely horrific natural disasters, but most Californians have been lulled into a false sense of security.

In the end, I believe that the great shaking that will come to the state of California will be just part of the great shaking that is coming to the United States as a whole.  This great shaking is something that I discuss in my new book entitled “The Rapture Verdict” which is all about Bible prophecy and the last days.  I am fully convinced that the judgment of God is coming to America, and that everything that can be shaken will be shaken.

There are many people out there that are concerned that the state of California will fall into the ocean someday, but scientists tell us that is probably not likely to happen.  However, the U.S. Geological Service does admit that one day the cities of Los Angeles and San Francisco will be right next to each other…

Will California eventually fall into the ocean?

No. The San Andreas Fault System, which crosses California from the Salton Sea in the south to Cape Mendocino in the north, is the boundary between the Pacific Plate and North American Plate. The Pacific Plate is moving northwest with respect to the North American Plate at approximately 46 millimeters per year (the rate your fingernails grow). The strike-slip earthquakes on the San Andreas Fault are a result of this plate motion. The plates are moving horizontally past one another, so California is not going to fall into the ocean. However, Los Angeles and San Francisco will one day be adjacent to one another!

And of course it is true that small parts of California are already falling into the ocean as this current El Nino weather pattern causes stunning erosion along the coast.

Yes, there are good things about the state of California, and I hope to get the chance to visit again at least one more time before it is too late.

But there is no way that I would want to live there, and if anyone that does live there asks me, I always encourage them to think about moving.

So what do you think about the future of the state?

Anytime some place becomes desirable and nice to live the liberal will hear of it, move there, take over the government and soon run that area TO THE GROUND!

Now that Texas is becoming desirable and a nice place to live, the liberal will hear of it, move over, take over the government and run it TO THE GROUND!

There are PLENTY of mountains in Nevada. I had to move to Nevada when Utah got Californicated. Don’t tell anyone this, though. Let them move to Texas.

      “Exodus,” is the right verb.

In my opinion, all of this stems from 911.

The Police, The Swats, do not answer to Jerry Brown, Diane Feinstein, they are above the law.

Parts of this article that I wrote about an Expose, of Swat Team Theft, just disappeared from here. I will retype, below.

I wrote a paragraph here about the Swat Teams, coming to our home, over a Bottle of Food Grade Hydrogen Peroxide, in someone’s car, & holding us at Gunpoint, ransacking our cars, homes, & stealing coins from me. I was a coin dealer at the time, & when I arrived in town, when we bought our home in 2011, I was stalked, from the time I picked up coin packages, at the post office, until I drove off the hill, & down into the Sacramento Valley, to find a Safe Deposit Box there.
Them stealing some of my coins, proves to me, that they targeted me from day one.
This is what happens when you give anyone, electric eyes, into your homes, bathrooms, businesses, et al.

I got nowhere calling Jerry Brown, so I posted this on RT.
Someone out there, must have made a phone call or 2, because, afterwards, they toned it down.
However, I moved to Oregon, and right afterwards, Weaponized Microwave Towers were installed, & they began to attack me there.
Also, a Tower, went up in front of my Sailboat at Bodega Bay, so I can’t go there anymore.

Good thing, in the Macro, because it woke people up in Oregon, to what is going on in America.

      Thank you.

If you know about how microwaves, were used in the Rwanda Genocide, & know how to Connect the dots, you will understand.

Every time, I went into town after the Swat Attack, I was stalked by their Electronic Warfare, demonized, not allowed to work.
They also did this to the couple that owns the Rock Creek Sandwich shop here.
It is standard Police Thief Protocol.

Afterwards, trying to sell my home, my homes were removed from the MLS, & my business phone numbers were taken down, so that I cannot earn a living.

What kind of a State & Country is this?

These Swat Nazi’s are from 911.
When you don’t disarm your military, after a war, they come home, to attack you.

There are now 114 people on the Tax Payer’s Dole, for every 100 working.
Our town of 10,000, has Swats here, that invent you as a “Terrorist,’
so they can come & hold you at gunpoint, ransack your home & car, & steal.
After 911, they do not answer, to Jerry Brown, Diane Feinstein, because they are, “Above the Law.’
Nevermind that they are bankrupting us, & their war on terror translates to:
      Reign of Terror.
The county just lost 2 lawsuits, brought about by Legal Dispenseries, that were raided by the police & shut down. This is a start of a Turn Around for this ridiculous equation of:
The People of the U.S. vs Police Thievery, Brutality, etc.
I have not been able to sell my home here, so I am still back & forth.

If we stop the Crack Cocaine/Prison economy, we may be able to live free, instead of Slavery.
This includes, the banks owning the prisons, & charging us $800 a day, or so, per prisoner.

Now, I know, there are some honest people out there in Law Enforcement, but speaking to the people around here, you better start looking under Rocks.

The Final Nail, in our Coffin, is the Temple of BAAL, going up in NYC. 1000′s are planned.

      BAAL is the Satan Occult.

BAAL is their God of Human Trafficking & Human Sacrifice.

      Wake up America.
Messiah is not going to let you put this,
      In his face,
      Nor ours.

This is a Film Trailer, from a Film I made about California, in Happier Days.

The Police have destroyed our lives, here, & we are outward bound.
National Security for them, they still have their jobs,
      Tyrants, for us.

Take Care everyone, & understand, these things are happening, as it is written.

We are living, in the End of Days. The hour glass is out of time.

To the contributor of this article “The Last Days”:

I live in southern California, and I don’t mind the the state tax so much.

What I DO mind is the outrageous cost of renting or buying real estate; double to triple what real estate costs in Texas, and quite a few other states.

      Yes, traffic is extremely heavy.

And in most places, if you rent, parking is a MAJOR problem! (Most apartment buildings assign only one space per apartment; as that is what they have available.)

And did you stop and think about all the factories and businesses which closed in California, and moved to other countries, laying off hundreds of thousands of people? Maybe some of those that moved to Texas found better job opportunities there?

    • DISPENSER

      Dear ex Californians.
Do not move to Texas, and try to turn it into the liberal crap hole you have escaped from.

    • GOLOC

THE EXODUS FROM BEFORE IT’S NEWS HAS BEGUN,
I DON’T KNOW WHAT IDIOT IS IN CHARGE, BUT YOUR VISITORS HAVE BECOME VERY ANNOYED AND PISSED OVER THE BANNER ( FLASH ) IN THE MIDDLE OF EVERY PAGE, IT IS A SHAME THAT YOU ARE DESTROYING YOUR COMPANY OVER A PYRAMID SCAM.

    • meh

      The opposite is true.
California is one of the most desired real estate buyers’ market in the whole nation.

The reservoirs are already half filled up again, since the winter “El Nino” rains and snow.

Technology Jobs have just begun to transition the whole nation, from California.

The writer of this story above seems to be behind by about 5 years or more.
That recession and real estate collapse is long over with. The market in California is growing
      steady.

      • PaulTarsuss

Yep. it’s true. Just ask “meh”.

        Meh should know.

I for one, trust anyone wise enough to go by the monicker, ‘meh’, implicitly.

    • jbw

Thanks, and keep ‘em comin’! I’d like to see at least 2-3 million MORE get OFF of MY freeways!

    • RationalSkeptic

And how many are moving to California?

      • HonestSkeptic

That is the correct question, fellow thinker.

    • Emmettsmom

DONT LOOK at the BIG ELEPHANT FROM FUKUSHIMA IN THE ROOM!! LOOK AWAY! DONT LOOK AT THE MILES OF DEAD & DYING ANIMALS ON THE BEACHES! DONT LOOK AT THE PAST 5YEARS OF MILLIONS OF TONS OF RADIATION POURING INTO THE PACIFIC OCEAN & DESTROYING ITS ECOSYSTEM! …Whatever you DO, -NEVER MENTION THE ELEPHANT!!

    • Ralban

Radiation and coastal die-offs are going to be the big reason people move. Watch this summer for things to really go bad. Bird and animal die-offs all along the shores. Watch for thyroid cancer rates to rise. Everyone on the West Coast will understand that nuclear energy has destroyed the Pacific by the end of this summer. Fukushima is worse now than ever. No-one in the government wants to talk about it. Let’s all just stick our heads in the sand. Only the sand is turning radioactive.

All nuclear power and coal fire power plants need to be shut down asap. As Scott Kelly said “we have a very thin atmosphere that we all share, the earth will survive”. Every new or existing home should be outfitted with solar panels and battery back-packs, I haven’t had an electric bill in 7 years. We need a bigger push for electric cars and elevated high-speed mag-Lev trains to move people and freight. America has fallen behind while fighting stupid wars. We need to move beyond fossil fuels, be retrained and move forward with new skills and technology. 1990 is way behind, don’t look back, look forward to improvement.

No such thing as Nuclear Reactors…you idiots watch to much TV!

    • Gojiroiscoming

In 2013, California had 352,000 people move to the state. In 2014, 378,000 people moved to the state.

Quite frankly, your numbers are one sided and arent addressing the actual trend which is population growth of about 1% a year.

Some leave, others take their place.

California is the #1 state by GDP, it produces twice as much as Texas. It has the highest wages, the highest property value and the most diverse economy. It is the 9th largest economy in the entire world. They have had 3 years of budget surpluses after reversing budget problems following the crash of 2008.

Quite simply, this post is political BS. The richest states in America that provide the most economic growth and the best schools the country has to offer are run by liberals.

    • King Of Jambalamba

negroes mexicans and liberals killed that state!

    • Mangobiker

This article makes much of the unlikely earthquake scenario as a motivator of millions leaving California. The reality is much closer to their wallets: The rich are staying. The Working poor are leaving. California has the highest % of people of all 50 states living in poverty! This is a statistic that is very telling! Why is this so? California has the highest business tax rate resulting in the highest business failure rate (69% higher than the median for the other states), highest sales tax, highest gas taxes (double the median), highest property taxes collected (93% more than the median), 2nd highest cost of a automobile ownership, highest cost of housing, and highest % of people living in poverty! Bravo, Statists! “Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,” or, we might adapt to California’s statists : “seeking to create a utopia, they created something less than purgatory.” Businesses are heading for the exits…..we are losing 5.2% of all businesses in the state EACH year to less taxing states–an astounding 67% MORE than the next most business-hating state. 5,000,000 people left California in the last decade, and it seems that double that number will leave this decade. California is presently unsustainable EXCEPT for the 1%.
