Jimmy started working with Gun For Hire in 2008. Since then, he has ascended from Range Safety Officer and Instructor to General Manager and Director of Training. As the Director of Training, he not only designs the curriculum, he also plans the day-to-day schedule of the Gun For Hire Academy courses. Jimmy’s love for shooting has propelled him to learn as much as he can about the subject. Through his journey, Jimmy has earned many certifications in firearms training, personal safety, and first-aid care, and in his expertise as an armorer. Jimmy also heads our exclusive Build a beAR Course, and since 2010 he has built over 600 rifles with Gun For Hire Academy students. According to the NRA, “The goal of this program is to streamline communications between NRA HQ and the NRA Instructors in the field. State and Regional Training Counselors will be tasked with assisting HQ in communicating with Instructors and Training Counselors in their areas of responsibility.”
