The fast-moving fires, which are seen by many scientists as a sign of climate change, however,those of us who are aware now that this was probably the result of DEW. These fires have killed five people, destroyed more than 1,000 structures and forced thousands to flee.
How does DEW work? When a laser beam strikes a target, the energy from the photons in the beam heats the target to the point of combustion or melting. High-power microwave (HPM) weapons work by producing either beams or short bursts of high-frequency radio energy.
The use of DEW or laser weapons are forbidden in war. It is prohibited to employ laser weapons specifically designed, as their sole combat function or as one of their combat functions, to cause permanent blindness to unenhanced vision, that is to the naked eye or to the eye with corrective eyesight devices.
However, DEW can be used to destroy everything else that isn’t war-related and used against the citizenry without restrictions.
