National Coffee Party to Contend with GOP and Dems?

Several months after the Tea Party burst on the scene and garnered media attention, time for the Coffee Party.
Washington has always been a bastion for coffee lovers worldwide–with Starbucks and several other major coffee chains having their origin in Seattle, the Coffee Party may have a following there. The Party met in Richland, Washington.
The Tea Party looks to remind the GOP that they need to change and get back to their roots. The Coffee Party looks to do the same with the Democratic Party, although with less shouting at town hall meetings.
According to CBS, the website got 170,000 visitors in the first week and the Facebook page has over 110,000 fans.

In Vallejo, CA, the Coffee Party is to have a meeting as well. Max Green, the organizer in Vallejo said in a Times Herald article: “This is an answer to the Tea Party movement — a call to action to counter the name-calling and the fabrications and facilitate civil discourse.
Some suspect, however, that the Coffee Party will be similar to other liberal groups like MoveOn.org.
