Michigan Tea Parties Unite to Endorse a Michigan Senate Candidate (#MI4CS)

The Michigan4conservativesenate (#MI4CS http://www.michigan4conservativesenate.com) is a group of Michigan Tea Parties uniting briefly for the purpose of endorsing Michigan’s next republican candidate for the US senate.  The unification of Michigan Tea Parties could pose a significant obstacle to political candidates who fail to recognize Tea Party principles – if the volume of participation is large enough.  For example, in the 2000 vote Michigan’s junior US Senator Debbie Stabenow won her election by obtaining 67,259 more votes than Spencer Abraham.   If Michigan can muster 68 Tea Parties with 1000 votes each, then the margin of victory would be reversed.  Even if the totals are lower, candidates would take a unified Tea Party endorsement more seriously than endorsements from individual tea parties.  

I encourage Tea Party patriots to give serious consideration to the MI4CS program.  Although it may now be a fledgling, in the future this program could lead the way for candidates who favor constitutional principles.
