Video: The Enemy of the Press.... Finally?

I’ll need to set up this video for you. I’m sure this was not a front page story in your local newspaper. As Andrew Beaujon wrote in a column on Poynter.com:

Nope!  Definitely not in this newspaper!

New York Times reporter James Risen, who is fighting an order that he testify in the trial of Jeffrey Sterling, a former CIA officer accused of leaking information to him, opened the conference earlier by saying the Obama administration is “the greatest enemy of press freedom that we have encountered in at least a generation.” The administration wants to “narrow the field of national security reporting,” Risen said, to “create a path for accepted reporting.” Anyone journalist who exceeds those parameters, Risen said, “will be punished.”

Now, all you have to know, is that Obama has his ways to silence dissent.  But it doesn’t just happen to Conservatives.  Maybe the liberals will finally get the idea that violations of the First and Fourth Amendments can affect them too.  You don’t have to be a Conservative to be an enemy of the State or that Obama could be an enemy of the Press.  Just sayin’…
