Roanoke County Primary this Saturday!

There is a primary in Roanoke County this Saturday, May 2. And we have our May Roanoke Tea Party meeting next Thursday, May 7.

First the Primary. It is this Saturday at the South County Library. Polls open at 10am and close at 3:00 PM. The primary will decide the Republican candidate that will challenge Roanoke County Board of Supervisor “ICLEI Queen” Charlotte Moore(D).

You probably remember hearing how she had her boyfriend, the former fire chief, make our county firemen wash her car. Charlotte’s history on the board is a standard tale of entitlement, leftist tax hiking, budget increasing, and government expanding progressivism. She must go.

One of our RTP members, Brian Velkoff, is running in that primary. If you live in the Cave Spring voting district of Roanoke County (VIEW MAP HERE),make time to go Saturday and vote for Brian.

Brian has been a hard-working volunteer in the Roanoke Tea Party who worked on our Vetting committee, helped paint signs, and put up our “Tea Party Tonight” signs the night before every RTP meeting.

As we have seen from previous local primaries 1 vote makes all the difference. Al Bedrosian’s only needed 1 vote to win his primary 2 years ago. He got lucky and won the “coin toss”. But one more vote would have prevented CHANCE from deciding the primary. Tax hiker, budget increaser, and RINO Joe McNamara only made it by 5 votes.
