According to PollingReport.com 64% of the population believe that the most eminent threat to our country is the growth of our government. Additionally, 58% believe that Washington DC has far too much power; of which I have to agree.
In fact the country’s largest employer is the US government. They are hiring more people today, than any other time is history, which is why we see a massive surge of growth in the government. This ever-growing system gains enormous power over virtually every aspect of our lives: education, health care, transportation, energy, disaster relief, welfare, commerce, work and salary rules, and on and on. Not only that but the media has become government watch dogs, the justice department infringes on citizens rights, the IRS targets conservatives, the NSA illegally breaks the first and fourth amendment by spying on its citizens and rants about it; corruption is so widespread that it has become the norm. The tragic part is many Americans are so apathetic that they don’t even realize what is going on because it doesn’t affect them directly.
This is not the America our Founding Fathers envisioned, rather it’s an America headed for a nightmare…
The massive growth of our government is causing many small business to close their doors forever. As a result government jobs increase and the overall middle class become poorer. Thus making America more controllable because they are owned by the government. Once a majority of the people are employed through them, they can garnish wages at will. After all if most people work for them, there will be no competition, so who’s to say they can’t lower the wages on the masses. No one! That’s the point. History proves that this has happened before and is happening again. Take Greece for example, they are falling apart financially and the massive size of the government has alot to do with it.
Furthermore, big government is the enemy of liberty. Government actions that go beyond its defensive, rights-preserving functions necessarily entail some form of coercion that diminishes the freedom of people. The bigger the government gets, the more it liberty is reduced.

It’s not as simplistic as the author of the article makes out, that to solve USA problem is to go from big government to little government, for the nation has become dependent on Federal reserve notes and many receive monthly checks from the feds without which they would be broke. Up until starting in the 1940′s most Americans were self-sufficient because most lived on farms. Today, most Americans are dependent on other people providing services in order to survive, the food store, the water supply company.
The biggest mistake the Americans made was chasing the private central bank’s money. Actually the opposite is more true…I have lived over a half century and it is these younger generation men and women who have awakened me. I am a vet and thought I knew the score…Heck, I wasn’t even in the same game…You should be encouraged by the youth, they are smarter, faster and quicker on the uptake and don’t have the programmed propaganda we were subject to as much. It has always been perplexing how the supposed faith community expresses such outrage and shock over many recent events. All I have ever seen is a country astray, secular, thoroughly based on greed and materialism, lewdness in music and movies, steeped in “the world, the flesh and the devil,” rebellious against God in many, many ways, coming from all directions. People act if all these problems just came about, that it’s so shocking, when, in fact, there are consequences to what has always been a diseased heart of the nation.
Just one example, I can remember a beer ad, a bunch of guys sitting around a campfire, getting drunk, the motto, “It doesn’t get any better than this.” Such has been and is the national message, for as long as I’ve been alive. Politicians have also been on the take, for as long as I’ve been alive, corporations pillaging world resources and doing anything to make a buck, down to indiscriminately poisoning the land and water or arming both sides of wars. Where there is any faith, it is, at best, lukewarm in the majority, “prosperity gospel,” “easy believism,” some sort of permissive, cheap grace that costs nothing, worldly, not those things the Lord taught, not those things clear in the Bible, things that, throughout generations, we’ve chosen to ignore or pay lip service to.
Rebellion against God comes to an end, and, when you make your bed in hell, this is where you sleep. For many years, I’ve seen nothing surprising, even now. You want to spend an evening without God? Just turn on your TV, even the so-called “Christian” networks mainly charlatans, carnival barkers whipping up the sheep for shearing, money grubbers. These things have always been a concern, where this entire Godless mess from hell was always headed, but it appears people only wake up when the catastrophe comes to their block. Most people simply will not do anything until forced to, & even then they may not. I watched a documentary about a hijacked plane crash the other day in which 4 guys with 1 or 2 axes managed to force the pilot to fly into open ocean with very little fuel (trying to get to Australia). He managed to keep the plane near the coast & wanted to land on an island run-way as their only hope to avoid crashing in the sea once the tank was empty. He made an announcement on the loud-speaker for the passengers to react against the hijackers..
A full plane of people & guess how many heros acted to save their own life? ONE guy who only had 1 arm due to being a war times photographer. Because he was standing when the plane went down, he died along with half the passengers. They were in reach of the island emergency run-way which could have saved all of them, but because the pilot had to single-handedly deal with the hijackers whilst flying the plane manually & only one handicapped passenger did anything to assist him, all these people died.. This is our cultural conditioning & how insane it is.
Once you are awake to the illusions of the mainstream matrix, it takes a while to come to terms with how crazy & corrupt the world is.. Many become angry & bitter. But there is no benefit to staying in that minset permanently.
