Biden Admin Begins Prosecuting People For What?

(FixThisNation.com) – Since Biden took office, the Department of Justice has led two prosecutions against former federal employees who had illegally kept classified documents in their possession. The two different cases concerned an ex-FBI analyst and retired Air Force lieutenant colonel who were both found with classified documents in their respective homes.
According to a report from the Daily Beast, one of the incidents concerned Robert Birchum, who had served for more than three decades in the air force during which time he had top-secret clearance. Birchum is set to plead guilty to one count of unlawful retention of national defense information in a plea hearing that is scheduled for next month.
This is at a time when the Department of Justice is leading three separate investigations relating to classified documents found in the possession of President Joe Biden, former President Donald Trump, and former Vice President Mike Pence. All three of them reportedly held on to classified documents or discovered classified documents in their homes that relate to their time in office. In Biden’s case the documents date back to Biden’s time under the Obama administration.
The Department of Justice first started looking into Birchum in 2017 after the Air Force’s Office of Special Investigations was notified about Birchum having classified information in his Tampa, Florida home.
Following a search on January 24, 2017, 135 classified documents had been found on a thumb drive. There were also 75 pages of paper documents and over 100 other sensitive files.
