What African-American Revolutionaries Are Saying About Ron Paul

If people knew and understood the philosophical consistency and intellectual depth of Dr. Ron Paul and studied the books of the people from whom he draws his principles, the election would be over and America would be saved.

 Although Dr. Paul is sometimes accused of being a Randian, this is a lie. While he mentions her, and what libertarian wouldn’t, he actually draws his beliefs from John Locke, Ludwig Von Mises, Murray Rothbard, Hans Hermann Hoppe, Carl Menger, F.A. Hayek, Randolph Bourne, Lew Rockwell, Raimondo, and others of the Austrian school.

It is an American shame that most Americans are ignorant of the arguments these individuals have made for liberty and free markets.  Their writings are kept from the American people by our educational establishment so the media can be left to frame debate. This censorship and media filtering is a form of thought control.  The ruling class knows it is better off if Americans are divided and spend their time arguing about gay marriage and flag lapel pins.

Americans, I beg you.  Please educate yourself and discover the questions that need to be asked.  Learn how genius economists, statesmen and philosophers have advanced the arguments for liberty and free markets.  Read how they have answered questions regarding liberty, peace, property rights and prosperity after having made the study of economics, history, war, government, philosophy, religion and liberty a lifetime endeavor. 

When people understand that all other politicians are statists, except for Ron Paul who champions the individual, their choice for whom to elect as president will be made clear.  What other candidate authored books like “Liberty Defined”, “A Foreign Policy of Freedom”, “The Revolution, A Manifesto”, “Freedom Under Seige” and “Pillars of Prosperity”?  What other candidate would mention Bastiat’s “The Law” on national television?  The guy is a true revolutionary for liberty.  When you understand the argument you will finally understand Ron Paul.

People who understand Ron Paul, how he came to his positions and the intellectuals who guided him, know he is guided by reason alone.  His second greatest mentor, Murrary Rothbard, advanced the work of Ron Paul’s greatest mentor, Ludwig Von Mises. Both Mises and Rothbard were Jewish and anti-statists.  Rothbard was a student of Mises in the very concrete meaning of the term.  Ron Paul constantly mentions both Mises and Rothbard and never once deviated or differed from the postions of these intellectual giants.

Ron Paul correctly identifies African-Americans as the intentional targets of a drug war in which racism places millions in prisons to be raped, maimed, brutalized and marginalized by society via a corrupt justice system that sells justice by the pound.  It destroys families and crushes lives.

Ron Paul has stated he would IMMEDIATELY release all non-violent marijuana offenders, a group that contains hundreds of thousands of African-Americans, and work to correct a criminal justice system that thrives on racism.  You will not hear such talk from even Obama or witness any greater indictment of the system by even the most liberal democrat or conservative Republican.

While a Caucasian rarely sees a prison for minor marijuana offenses, African-Americans are used as a new form of slave labor that is exploited by a new corporatist prison-industrial complex where incarceration-for-profit has so perverted justice that it needs to be immediately smashed.  This word will get out and Ron Paul will benefit from those whose eyes will be opened once his positions are made known.  

Rothbard addresses racism in his book, “Man, Economy and the State with Power and Market” and describes racism as “a revolt against reason”.  Trying this nonsense of accusing Ron Paul of racism will further discredit the media and allow his African- American supporters, who have posted thousands of articles about him on the internet, to bring more voters to Paul.  The people are tired of the media attempting to control the political process in a way that harms the democratic process.  Additionally, Ron Paul supporters have been effective at exposing the establishment media as a “dead wood industry”.  Smearing Ron Paul will prove to be a bridge too far.  

To my African-American brothers, I ask your help in smashing the police state. It can not be done without your help.  America needs you.  I know your experience has taught you the police are not your friends.  It is a shame that it took “white people” so long to wake up to what the African-American community has known since the civil rights movement.  Institutional racism is alive and well.  The best way to beat it is to crush the totalitarian government that has proven to be an equal-opportunity oppressor.

Ron Paul says that freedom and liberty unite people.  He argues that rights belong to people not because they belong to any specific group, but because God have given each man inalienable rights as a human being and any intrusion upon those rights is an act of violence.  Rights granted on the basis of race is a form of collectivism.  He argues that the government’s greatest and most important role is to protect the rights of each man from the state, from criminals, and acts of violence by those who use the government as a weapon without respect to justice. 

Those who love liberty and oppose tyranny in all its forms welcome African-American citizens as brothers-in-arms against the oppression of the state.  Wew can free and save the lives of millions of people from the African-American.  We can take the profit out of drugs and end gang warfare.  The African-American community has great leaders who oppose the racism that continues to be supported institutionally via state power.  We call on these individuals to lend us their expertise and strength to further the fight against tyranny and oppression.  We all need to remember that It is the individual who is the smallest minority and that is the minority that needs to be the most protected -the individual, each and every single one of us.
