A chilling video of the explosion in West, Texas, captured by a man and his child just yards away from the blast, reveals the sheer terror that has rocked this tight-knit community.
The blast at a fertilizer plant at 7:50pm local time on Wednesday has reportedly left many people dead, hundreds injured and caused a nursing home to collapse, trapping residents inside.
A resident in the small Texas town, Derrick Hurtt, had parked his car to observe the fire at the plant earlier in the night and was filming the structure as it was engulfed in flames.
All of a sudden, something sparked a massive blast, causing flames to shoot into the sky, rocking the family’s car as the terrified father and his 12-year-old daughter Khloey tried to scramble to safety.

The is no “dooms day.” Revelations is about what could happen if man did certain things. God is a Creator not a destroyer. Without God evil would reign. We are not alone but we were given a free will. I am sure God is disgusted but he knows that good always triumphs. If you spend your life expecting bad things to happen you will not only experience them but be some of the reason they are. The old saying” you reap what you sew” is the truth. This is not Texas [stupid]. 99% of cities in Texas have building codes. I know Waco doesn’t have building codes, but didn’t know West didn’t have them either.
There was another explosion at a different fertilizer plant in TX as well but its not getting any coverage, rumor has it the fire department at the plant on TV wasn’t spraying the needed fire retardant and the water they used was what made the bigger issue for them.
