Ferguson Bombshell! Officials Claim Agent Provocateurs Inciting Violence. COINTELPRO?

Officials, including both the Missouri governor and the highway patrol corporal have blamed what fits the description of FBI agent provocateurs for the violence that turned the peaceful Missouri town of Ferguson into what has looked like an urban war zone over the past eight days.  The government has been conducting a war on black people and dissenters for decades, first using the FBI’s old Counter Intelligence Program, COINTELPRO, and now using its new, more lethal but equally racist version.

It is speculated that the violence in Ferguson today is another example of the new COINTELPRO’s dirty tricks in its ongoing War on Blacks.

Along with releasing an image of the order for the National Guard to take over in Ferguson, signed by Missouri Governor Jay Nixon, his office also released a statement about organized outsiders causing the criminal acts that have had a negative, sometimes bloody impact on the community made up of mainly African Americans.

 

“Tonight, a day of hope, prayers, and peaceful protests was marred by the violent criminal acts of an organized and growing number of individuals, many from outside the community and state,” Missouri Governor Nixon stated. (Emphasis added)

Justin Wheetley, spokesman for Missouri State Highway Patrol restated what locals had said at the onset of violence in Ferguson, that outsiders are responsible for the violent protests leaving the community in shambles resembling an urban war zone.

“It is the few the aggressors that are taking this situation, this event and trying to escalate that in their favor to bring destruction to the community,” Corporal Wheetley said this week.

This deployment of organized agents to destabilize, neutralize and criminalize Blacks is nothing new in the United States, although it’s been censored in most US school system history text books.

Agent provocateurs are characterized by the following, each of which has been reported in Ferguson:

1) Want to establish “leaders” to set them up for a fall in order to stop the movement.

 

2) Suggest doing foolish, illegal things to get the activists in trouble.

 

3) Encourage militancy.

 

4) Want to taunt the authorities.

 

5) Attempt to make the activist compromise their values.

 

6) Attempt to instigate violence. 

 

7) Attempt to provoke revolt among people ill-prepared to manage  the reaction of authorities to such violence. (How to Spot COINTELPRO agents, Laura Knight)

Corporal Wheetley said the violent protests are being stirred up by influences from outside of Ferguson.

“We were hoping we would have a situation like we had last night, very little protest, very little violence, but that has not happened,” said Wheetley.

An agent provocateur (French for “inciting agent”) is an undercover agent who job is to go into communities and  entice people to commit illegal or rash acts or to falsely implicate them in partaking in an illegal act. Interstingly, Michael Brown had no history of theft, according to reports available. His grandmother told reporters he’d never even been in a fight. (He was due to begin college this week.)

An agent provocateur might act out of his or her own sense of nationalism/duty or might be employed by the police or other government or other entity to discredit or harm another group. Wikipedia gives the typical example of a  peaceful protest or demonstration. Provocateurs provoke demonstrators to commit a crime – thus, undermining the protest or demonstration as whole. Such provocation of violence has been seen and reported for over a week in Ferguson.

In the United States, the FBI’S COINTELPRO includes but is not limited to FBI agents posing as political activists to disrupt the activities of political groups. In the past, COINTELPRO agent provocateurs successfully neutralized by criminalizing the Black Panthers, the Student Nonviolent Coordinating Committee, and the American Indian Movement.

The U.S. Congress ordered the FBI to dissolve COINTELPRO, partially due to its related violence.  The Congressional Church Committee agreed that the FBI attacks were “illegal and un-American.”

Those same and worse attacks, however, continue today, more sophisticated and more lethal. The military transferred its arsenal, including secret directed energy weapons (DEWs), to the Department of Justice. COINTELPRO, under a new and classified name, became more covert and more violent. The new COINTELPRO, in the FBI’s partnership with the CIA in recent years, has military grade weapons that the Pentagon passed to the FBI and local police.

COINTELPRO is now known as America’s abuse-torture-death squad “spy” program designed to “neutralize” leaders of goodwill – and people of color.

New York City police officers acted as agents provocateurs there during protests against the 2004 Republican National Convention.

Denver police officers have used undercover detectives to instigate violence against police during the 2008 Democratic National Convention.

Throughout the United States, innocent targeted individuals’ family members do not understand or validate the hell in which TIs live because the FBI’s permanent, sophisticated tricks and traps to neutralize people has been hidden from public view.

Just as some people had no idea why Ferguson people would become as violent as they have, some individuals have no idea why their lives have been filled with “bad luck” to the point of ruining them, some dying, never having known that their own government had covertly targeted them for failure.

Today’s FBI/Homeland Security covert operation against Americans includes hiring bloggers and computer hackers to attack credibility and even change a word or two in an article written by a human rights defender. In so doing, the author is slowly if not rapidly discredited. This internet program operated by the FBI is highlighted in the documentary Cointelpro 101 segment with Amy Goodman of Democracy Now! reporting on this dirty trick that is operational today.

“It is the few the aggressors that are taking this situation, this event and trying to escalate that in their favor to bring destruction to the community,” Corporal Wheetley said. “It is mostly outsiders who are coming in and destroying this peaceful community.”

COINTELPRO 101 opens the door to understanding the suppressed history of the U.S. covert operation that is targeting Blacks as well as progressive individuals and groups today, all of which needs to be understood to really appreciate young Michael Brown and the plight of war-torn Furguson, Missouri today.
