The Horrific Beauty of Socialism They Don't Want You to Know!

Politics: the art of using euphemisms, lies, emotionalism & fear-mongering to dupe average people into accepting–or even DEMANDING –their own enslavement.

We keep hearing about the rising popularity of socialism. And…there’s a lot of flowery language about what socialism is, plenty of examples of where it’s supposedly working and what it’s benefits are.

And even though the goal posts keep moving and excuses are being made (well that’s not really socialism), the advertised goal of socialism is equality for all. Specifically, economic and social equality. Make everything fair and everybody equal. It sounds really nice and really moral..doesn’t it? In a socialist society, they say, no one is too rich that they gain power over and dominate others and no one too poor that they can’t afford healthcare, education and even housing which are being proclaimed as human rights. And if you withhold universal healthcare and free public college education, then you’re an immoral dirt bag who is, essentially, engaging in human rights violations.

That’s why some people like Alexandria Ocasio Cortez claim that socialism is the “morally right thing to do.” (clip) In other words, if you’re not engaged in promoting socialism, you’re being immoral.

Under a capitalist society (not to be confused with a corporatist or cronyist society) an individual is free to use his time and money as he’s able and as he sees fit. He can use his time to learn a skill which makes him valuable to others, or he could take a course in liberal arts and become a completely useless drain on his mom and dad or on society as a whole. If he does learn a skill, he can use it to earn money which he can then spend in any way he wishes, which creates money making opportunities for others and strengthens the economy. Under capitalism, people are incentivized to create things, find more efficient methods of production and enrich society as a whole. In this economic climate of profit motive (which is not a bad thing as many paint it out to be), inventions spring forth. Inventions like the cotton gin, Smart phone, sliced bread, even cameras and audio equipment that carry the voices of socialists around the world. These inventions and innovations come from the idea that if you work hard and even invent things that will enhance the quality of the lives of others, you will be monetarily rewarded. You make money and, because of your individual effort, you contribute positively to society.
