Just when frustrated residents of New Jersey, one of the most heavily taxed states in the US, thought Democratic Gov. Phil Murphy had already brought the state into the ninth circle of taxation hell with new taxes to save the state’s ailing pension system, middle class voters in one of the least affordable states in the country have now been given one more thing to complain about: A tax on the rain.

according to the New York Post. After a bill authorizing the new local taxes was passed by the state late last month, Murphy is preparing to sign it into law, over the objections of the state’s Republicans,

As Assemblyman Hal Wirths noted, just when NJ residents thought the state had already laid claim to every revenue stream imaginable, Democrats have found one more thing to tax. He said,

“Every time you think there’s nothing left to tax, we come up with something else,” “It’s just never-ending down here.”

Voters, of course are livid!

The revolutionary war was started over a tax on tea guys. What do you think those guys from the 1700s would think about political parasites getting away with taxing rain fall?

And if it’s one thing we politicians have learned about problems is that if you trow enough money at ‘em…while it may not fix the actual problem we imposed the tax specifically to address…we sure make a killing as we squander money none of us even have to work for. So that people like me can buy new suits and feed our faces a little more!

And the way we do that is by stealing more money from innocent people who just wanna be left alone. I mean…just look at me…don’t I look like a trust worthy guy who cares about protecting the our shores and protecting our people? (clip)

And guys, here’s the insanity of all this. Everybody knows that politicians (not just the ones in Jersey) are lunatics…and yet we continue to tolerate them. What is the magic that keeps us from terminating the positions of every one of those psychopaths?

Now, if you were this guy wouldn’t you just grab that microphone, look at the camera and say, listen people, if you’re against this tax or any other tax, meet me at the courthouse steps at 2 o’clock tomorrow and let’s start cutting taxes across the board…but they just stand there and complain about the lack of oversight because the opposition is also benefiting from the extortion racket known as taxation.
