QAnon Finally Resurfaces. Something Is Not Adding Up Here.. THEY Are Hiding It! (Video)

Until the weekend, the supposed government insider also known as “Q,” who has invested over a year dishing out cryptic clues and nuggets of details with regards to an impending violent purge of the deep state, had gone almost totally dark.

Following a stir of posts in early January, many that propagated a conspiracy theory that Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg was covertly on life support, Q had only posted twice from Jan. 13 to Feb. 9 -and one post was a stock photograph of jet fighters. But Q charged back with another dozen posts this saturday and sunday, cranking up the mythology all over again and making references to top secret reports, “blockades,” “placeholders,” controlled media, and what looks to be a problematic command for believers to turn against their families.

Q has gone quiet before, oftentimes for quite a few weeks each time, only to resurface with a multitude of fresh posts and unique riddles to decode.

But this most recent lapse and reemergence comes at a moment when the movement that has assembled around Q is in all likelihood losing faith or just basically walking away. Without continuous guidance from Q, believers in the conspiracy theory are frantically picking through previous posts seeking hints, while dissecting the minutiae of President Donald Trump’s tweets, speeches, and statements for secret significance.

But the movement is likewise turning out to be more violent in its unsupported claims and desperate in the theories it’s propagating. There are even divides between members who believe that arrests are impending, and those who think the whole point of the movement isn’t about scooping up deep state cabalists, but purely about being knowledgeable of the existence of the deep state and its cabalists.

So where is QAnon going? Is it reaching a crescendo of violence, or fizzling out like so many conspiracy theories and hoaxes before it? It’s tricky to tell, because each time Q disapears, he usually resurfaces. But there are numerous painful developments that demonstrate that while the mass arrests aren’t coming, the movement’s believers haven’t gotten that information.

QAnon believers are turning violent

QAnon social media has always been rich in demands that deep staters be hanged, put in the front of firing squads, etc. But since Q has mainly gone quiet, there’s been a obvious uptick in QAnon believers either campaigning for perceived adversaries to be taken out, or threatening to do it themselves.

Opponents of the measure say firing squads are barbaric, with the American Civil Liberties Union of Utah saying the bill makes the state ‘look backward and backwoods.’

Notable QAnon “decoder” Liz Crokin recently shared on a livestream that if mass arrests don’t happen soon, “we are going to start seeing vigilante justice,” which she is convinced “could cause a civil war in this country.”

Crokin’s warning of QAnon believers communal solidarity successfully reached mainstream media, but she’s far from the only individual who has either warned of or rode shotgun for some kind of vigilante uprising to track down the covert (non-existent?) deep state pedophiles in the government and media.

The largest QAnon discussion board on Reddit clone Voat is filled with anonymous users expressing that they are “locked and loaded” and prepared to battle, with believers fantasizing about Q unleashing the collapse of society, shooting and burying “looters,” going on a “million rifle march,” and “taking the situation into our own hands.” No attempt is made to police any of these posts, and with the users completely anonymous, it’s impossible to report them to applicable authorities.

It’s early, but the initial reaction by the #QAnon crew to Trump caving on the shutdown is really negative. No “5-D chess master” stuff, just pissed off and betrayed true believers. Pay attention to this.

The majority of this rhetoric remains electronic. But it’s starting to leak into the real world, with a QAnon believer known as Buckey Wolfe purportedly murdering his brother with a sword, and yet another QAnon believer, who posts on Twitter as “TheLightReports,” arrested for trespassing on the property of the Virginia governor’s mansion.

There is likewise the fire set at Comet Ping Pong Pizza, the ground zero of Pizzagate conspiracy theories. The arsonist has not been captured, but since QAnon and Pizzagate are so tightly associated, it won’t be shocking if whoever set the fire is likewise a Q believer.

QAnon collective is fragmenting

A deep dive into notable QAnon social media demonstrates a movement flailing for purpose and guidance. When Q posted consistently, he kept his followers occupied with a limitless stream of riddles, rhetorical questions, fragmented clues leading no place, and out-of-context photographs.

But with no Q, the movement is basically following notable conservative news reports, whether they’re about the supposed migrant caravans heading north toward the U.S. and Mexican border, the new late-term abortion laws in New York and Virginia, or Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s wellbeing. These are definately also concentrating more on popular targets of conservative anger like Nancy Pelosi and Adam Schiff, instead of on the targets of Q drops.

Did anyone else notice last night that anytime there was standing the women in the white brigade would look around to each other to know if they should stand or not. They were bobble heads all evening. Not the kind of women who represent me. They’re lemmings.

And in spite of the movement supporting Trump as some kind of divine emperor, there was significant anger at the president knuckling under on his demand for a border wall and ending the government shutdown. Should Trump eat crow again and fail to deliver the wall after the three-week continuing resolution expires, Q believers will very likely move even further away from their Trump worship, and toward typical conspiracy lunacy.

QAnon believers are falling for more extravagant rumors

While the movement is flailing for a purpose, numerous members are so anxious for Q’s long-promised “something big” to take place that they are biting on truly stupid hoaxes.

One of the most notable was a rumor that QAnon enemy George Soros had been arrested in Switzerland after being snitched out by Barack Obama, who himself had been charged with treason by a shadowy “Alliance” of white hats. Of course, it was a hoax.

There was also a spike of excitement amid QAnon followers about a cryptic post on 4Chan that utilized very much the same syntax and language to Trump’s speaking style- with countless believing Trump himself published the post as a way to let his followers know everything was OK. Trump is thought to post as component of the QAnon network of insiders, characterizing his posts by signing them“Q+.”

And because QAnon began with anonymous posts on racist imageboard 4chan, eventually shifting to even more racist imageboard 8chan, the concept of Trump “returning” to 4chan for an update seemed attractive to believers.

Except it wasn’t, because the post proved to be… wait for it….. a hoax.

Someone on 4chan /pol/ answered a question as if they were actually Trump. And so of course some in QAnon community actually believe that Trump made a 4chan post.

(The post was on 4chan, not 8chan, as some in the QAnon community are claiming.)

And there was the ever-growing conspiracy theory that Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s true wellness status is being hidden by the deep state, with the liberal persona either being kept alive through mystery drugs or already dead and “on ice.”

Such a conspiracy has no proof to help support it and would involve the whole Supreme Court being in on a significant conspiracy to deceive the American public and the president alike-a president who could, theoretically, just grab the phone and contact the Supreme Court to inquire if RBG is still alive.

Mainstream social media sites continue to have difficulty staying on track with with this movement, though Twitter has fairly recently banished numerous well known QAnon accounts for threats of violence. And all of this might switch if QAnon returns with a whirlwind of fresh riddles and rhetorical questions. But for the moment, this is a movement that’s trigger happy and hungry for some suggested next steps.
