Kal KP releases new album 'Trapped'

The songwriter and producer of hip hop known as Kal KP has released his latest official album, “Trapped.” The album contains 11 original Kal KP tracks for an approximate total listening time of 35 minutes. It has been proudly published as an independent release without the involvement of the corporate music industry on the Breakdown Life Records record label. Explicit, aggressive, and “Trapped” showcases Kal KP as one of the most intriguing hip-hop artists of the year so far and promises that we can expect plenty more in the years to come.

Decatur, GA’s Kal KP cites as main artistic influences Marvin Gaye, Tupac Shakur, Outkast, and T.I.. Asked to describe his start in music, Kal KP writes, “I started as early as I can remember, by writing poetry that transformed into songs by the age of 8. My mother used to sing back up for Teddy Pendergrass back in the day and my late brother was a singer as well so it was always around me constantly.”
