Buying weed online is a recipe for adventure all by itself. When people are high, they don’t necessarily make the best decisions, and you just never know the kind of characters you’re going to end up meeting online.

It’s hard not to laugh when you hear someone tell what happened to them, or to their friends. Buying weed online might be illegal, but that definitely doesn’t keep people from doing it.

1. Higher Education

When I was a freshman in college, me and some friends basically locked ourselves in my dorm room for the weekend to cram for finals.

By Saturday night we were out of weed. None of us really had a weed hook-up so one of my friends, Mike, goes online to buy some. We had to be careful because the RA lived next door and I’d be so busted if he caught us getting baked.

So Mike orders an ounce to get us through the weekend and we sneak across campus to a park where the online dude told us to meet, and guess what? The dude selling the weed was my RA from next door. Needless to say, we all laughed our asses off and got seriously baked.

2. If You Want the Milk, Buy the Cow

I used live outside Toronto and would make trips into the city to score weed every month or so. When my regular pot guy moved away, I started looking online for a new source.

I found this seller named Taco Bob. The good news was I wouldn’t have to drive as far as I had with my old pot guy. Turns out the address was a farm. So it’s super cold out and I’m looking around and see a guy waving at me from the middle of a pasture full of cows.

I walk out to him and realize Taco Bob is sitting beside a cow and can’t stand up. I gave him the money and he says he’s drunk and can’t milk the cow, so if I want the weed I have to milk the cow for him.

Needless to say, I had never milked a cow. This guy was obviously trashed, and now he’s pissed, and he refused to give me the pot. So I grabbed my money back and got the hell out of there.

3. Tinder is the Night

A guy in New York swiped right for a girl on Tinder, and they made plans to meet the following night. They texted back and forth all the next day. She was flirty and sent him some pics of her smoking weed and making jokes about getting high together. He kept responding “sounds good!”

When they meet, she’s with another guy. This other guy is tall and skinny, and wears a long coat even though it’s spring. The girl isn’t flirty anymore and doesn’t look nearly as hot in real life as her pics, and she says “I’m here to sell you pot. And you’re gonna buy a couple ounces or my boyfriend will break your legs.”

So the girl and her boyfriend follow him to an ATM so he can withdraw enough cash. He later found out she had been pulling this scam all over the city for months.

4. Hey, Give Me Some Credit

A man named Henry was going through a bad divorce and wanted some edibles to get high. He was broke so he came up with an idea for buying weed online.

His idea was to use his wife’s Best Buy credit card to buy a computer he could trade for weed. So he goes online and charges a cheap laptop to his credit card and goes to Best Buy to pick it up.

This guy had never bought weed before, so when he picks up his computer, he whispers to the nerdy-looking guy at the register, asking if he knows someone who’d be willing to trade some weed for this laptop, and the nerdy guy said, “Sure, meet me at the back of the building in an hour.”

An hour later they meet behind the store, and the nerdy guy says “Hey, why didn’t you just buy weed with the money you used for the laptop?” Henry tells him he’s broke and doesn’t have cash to spare, so he charged the laptop to his wife’s Best Buy card.

“Seriously?”

“Yes.”

The nerdy guy laughs and asks to see the credit card. Henry hands it over, the guy reads the name on the card and looks up with a smirk.

“This is your wife?”

“Was. She left me for another guy.”

“Yeah, dude, I know. She’s my girlfriend.”

5. Dollar to Donuts

Me and my girlfriend found this weed guy online and he agreed to meet us at Krispy Kreme. We got there and made the deal, got baked in our car, and that made us super hungry so we went back inside for donuts.

We found the same table where the pot guy had been sitting, and it turned out the guy left his bag sitting under the table with our cash inside. So we grabbed the bag and ran to our car, laughing all the way home.

6. Monopoly Money

I was backpacking through Europe and one night got baked out of my mind while messaging this hot guy I met on Facebook. I could tell from his messages that he didn’t speak much English, and didn’t seem terribly bright.

So I told him if he could get some weed I could pay him for it. The Airbnb where I was staying had some board games on a shelf, so I grabbed some fake cash from the Monopoly box, thinking it would be a funny joke when we met.

But he didn’t blink an eye when he saw the fake money and handed over the pot. I immediately blocked that guy on Facebook.

7. That’s Not What I Meant

Joe was super high when his wife called from work to ask him why there was pot guy at her office wanting money, saying Joe had sent him there to get paid.

“Babe, I’m tapped out, and you told me your boss kept petty cash in a drawer for emergencies. I’d say this is kind of an emergency.”

“Joe, I work at the courthouse!”
