Of all the flights she worked, one stands out in her memory.

Midway through the flight, Boland recalls hearing a soft yet constant crying. She walked up and down the aisles to locate the mysterious noise but couldn’t quite discover it.

After some time, Boland discovered the source of the noise, realizing that the crying was coming from an overhead storage compartment.

Sure enough, she opened it up and discovered a crying infant. Apparently, the mother was a first-time flier who believed the storage compartment was intended for infants who needed to nap.

It’s a good thing Boland was as determined as she was, as the situation could’ve turned way worse had the baby stayed in the compartment longer.

2. Strange Allergies

If you think you deal with some choosy clients at work, think again.

As an attendant began organizing the galley before take-off, a young woman approached her asking for a glass of ice water.

It’s a simple enough request, but the attendant recalls that she didn’t have the ice in order at the moment and let the woman know she could pour her a glass of flat water.

The woman gave the attendant a look of disgust and balked, saying that she was allergic to water without ice in it.

3. The Nap To End All Naps

While the previous two insane stories are nuts, this third tale will make you want to avoid flights on any airline entirely.

As the plane began to board, a stewardess noticed two young women rolling their sleeping, wheelchair-bound grandmother onto the plane. Aside from thinking it was sweet, she thought nothing more of it.

Until the flight ended and the woman was still asleep.

As the stewardess attempted to wake the woman, she quickly came to the horrific realization that the woman was dead. Worse, the granddaughters knew the entire time.

The whole flight was a ploy to get their grandmother’s body into the United States to avoid expensive shipping costs.
