2. Become a Pet Taxi 

Some pet owners have a hard time getting their animals to and from the vet (and other locations). If you like dogs, cats, and other pets, you can turn your car into a pet taxi. 

The pay will vary depending on what city you live in—this option might not be available at all if you live in a small area, but some people can make almost $200 on a round trip to the vet and back. 

3. Help Senior Citizens Get Around

Many senior citizens are too old to drive themselves around. These senior citizens also have a hard time using normal rideshare services because they don’t have smartphones or just don’t know how to use the app.

5. Work with Delivery Apps

Apps like Uber Eats, DoorDash, Tapingo, and more match you up with people who want food and other items delivered straight to their front doors. That means instead of picking up people, you can swing by restaurants and pick up pizzas.

You get to choose when you work, and the pay can be as high as $25 an hour, depending on what service you choose to drive for. Sometimes you can get tips on top of that price. 

The apps will even provide directs to the restaurant or store and back to the client’s home. 

6. Deliver for Amazon 

Do you like the sound of dropping off deliveries? You may be able to deliver for Amazon itself!

Amazon customers want what they order fast, and sometimes the post office can’t get the packages to them quickly. That’s where you come in. 

Once you sign up on Amazon Flex, you can pick up packages from an Amazon warehouse and start driving. The app will give you the directions you need. 

Just remember, this job isn’t available everywhere. But if you live in the right spot, you can make up to $25 an hour. 

7. Deliver Newspapers

Again, this job might not be available everywhere, but it can get you an extra $1,000 or so dollars a month if you live in the right place. 

The best part?

You only have to work a few hours in the morning. That means you can make some extra money before your normal day job picks up. This is a flexible option for people who don’t mind waking up and getting in the car early. 

8. Rent Your Car Out

You don’t have to be driving your car to make money off it. Think about all the times your car ends up sitting parked in your driveway. If you’re already not using it, why not make some extra cash?

There are several services that connect you with people who need a car. You can even rent your car out to rideshare services if your car is nice enough.
