Cast iron skillets have been gaining popularity lately. After all, they were used as early as the Han Dynasty in China (206 B.C.–220 A.D.).

A cast iron skillet that is properly cared for can be passed down for generations.

The thing is, many of us do not know how the take care of this ancient technology, and as in my case, ruin a couple of them, to my husband’s disappointment.
