Ummmm…. those same families have run the fed since the beginning of time. They already owned us. They appoint a sales guy every few years or so to get in front of a camera to justify the interest rate (their dole) and decide who will get loans from them. In 2008 the real damage to us was the rich creeps essentially stopped loaning money to real human beings running businesses and the top guys in the banking system cleaned out the coffers like Hank Paulson.
The problem with living in the United States is you get taxed at every level of consumption. The feds peel the cream off the top of your wages, the state takes a chunk, the energy people take their chunk and now the insurance carriers are getting their chunk of your income too. For people who make low wages with kids, there is nothing left to feed their kids so they have to be on food stamps and get housing subsidies. It’s the few people with real jobs getting paid over $30.00 an hour paying all the bills for everyone because the rich don’t pay taxes. The low and minimum wage workers cant buy car insurance so those people are running around uninsured on the road half the time.
The system has hit the wall in my opinion. Sorry rich guys, nothing left to take unless corporations raise wages for low wage jobs. In my neighborhood we have 3-4 families (a lot of recent immigrants, some of them working in factories and some of them running small businesses) living in the same house. The American dream exists for very few people anymore. This cant go on like this much longer. I don’t know who the helllll they think is going to pay the bills.
