(N.Morgan) The world has been saddened to hear we’ve lost another rock legend. David Bowie lost his courageous battle with Liver Cancer at the age of 69. Many people may remember David from the first days MTV came on air, where he was a regular. Bowie developed an early interest in music although his attempts to succeed as a pop star during much of the 1960s were frustrated.

His career in music began when he burst onto the music scene in 1969 with his first hit, Space Oddity, which reached the Top 5 of the UK Singles Chart after its release in July of 1969. His flamboyant clothes, make-up, and flashy stage presence, rocked crowds all over the world. His music was the voice of misfits everywhere.

A Look Back On David Bowie’s Life And Career

After a three-year period of experimentation, he re-emerged in 1972 during the glam rock era with the flamboyant, androgynous alter ego Ziggy Stardust, spearheaded by the hit single “Starman” and the album The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars. Bowie’s impact at that time, as described by biographer David Buckley, “challenged the core belief of the rock music of its day” and “created perhaps the biggest cult in popular culture”. The relatively short-lived Ziggy persona proved to be one facet of a career marked by reinvention, musical innovation and visual presentation.

The Life Of David Bowie -BBC

He was born David Robert Jones and hailed from Brixton, London, United Kingdom.

His career also included being a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, record producer, arranger, painter and actor.

Bowie was a figure in popular music for over four decades, and was known as an innovator, particularly for his work in the 1970s. His androgynous appearance was an iconic element of his image, principally in the 1970s and 1980s.

In 1975 Bowie achieved his first major American crossover success with the number-one single “Fame” and the hit album Young Americans, which the singer characterized as “plastic soul”. The sound constituted a radical shift in style that initially alienated many of his UK devotees. He then confounded the expectations of both his record label and his American audiences by recording the electronic-inflected album Low, the first of three collaborations with Brian Eno. Low (1977), “Heroes” (1977), and Lodger (1979)—the so-called “Berlin Trilogy” albums—all reached the UK top five and received lasting critical praise.

After uneven commercial success in the late 1970s, Bowie had UK number ones with the 1980 single “Ashes to Ashes”, its parent album Scary Monsters (And Super Creeps), and “Under Pressure”, a 1981 collaboration with Queen. He then reached a new commercial peak in 1983 with Let’s Dance, which yielded several hit singles. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, Bowie continued to experiment with musical styles, including blue-eyed soul, industrial, adult contemporary, and jungle. He stopped touring after his 2003–04 Reality Tour, and last performed live at a charity event in 2006. Bowie released the studio album Blackstar on 8 January 2016, his 69th birthday, just two days before his death from liver cancer.

In a 1983 interview with Rolling Stone, Bowie said his public declaration of bisexuality was “the biggest mistake I ever made” and “I was always a closet heterosexual.

The Belgian theatre director Ivo van Hove, who worked with Bowie on his Off-Broadway musical Lazarus, explained that Bowie was unable to attend rehearsals due to progression of the disease. He noted that “Bowie was still writing on his deathbed, I saw a man fighting. He fought like a lion and kept working like a lion through it all.”

Visconti wrote: He always did what he wanted to do. And he wanted to do it his way and he wanted to do it the best way. His death was no different from his life – a work of Art. He made Blackstar for us, his parting gift. I knew for a year this was the way it would be. I wasn’t, however, prepared for it. He was an extraordinary man, full of love and life. He will always be with us. For now, it is appropriate to cry.

Bowie married Mary Angela Barnett (also known as Angie Bowie) on 19 March 1970 at Bromley Register Office on Beckenham Lane, Bromley, London. They had a son together, Zowie Bowie (now known as Duncan Jones, film director), and divorced on 8 February 1980 in Switzerland.

In 1992 David met and married Somali-American model Iman in a private ceremony in Lausanne. The wedding was later solemnized on 6 June in Florence. They have one daughter, Alexandria “Lexi” Zahra Jones, born in August 2000. The couple resided primarily in New York City and London, as well as owning an apartment in Sydney.

As far as Bowie and Iman’s relationship goes, it was love at first sight for David Bowie when he first met Iman, The Independent reported

Bowie returned to a solo career in 1993 with the sophisticated, soulful Black Tie White Noise, recording the album with Nile Rodgers and his now-permanent collaborator, Reeves Gabrels. The album was released on Savage, a subsidiary of RCA, and received positive reviews, but his new label went bankrupt shortly after its release, and the album disappeared.

Black Tie White Noise was the first indication that Bowie was trying hard to resuscitate his career, as was the largely instrumental 1994 soundtrack The Buddha of Suburbia. In 1995, he reunited with Brian Eno for the wildly hyped, industrial rock-tinged Outside.

Several critics hailed the album as a comeback, and Bowie supported it with a co-headlining tour with Nine Inch Nails in order to snag a younger, alternative audience, but his gambit failed; audiences left before Bowie’s performance and Outside disappeared.

He quickly returned to the studio in 1996, recording Earthling, an album heavily influenced by techno and drum’n'bass. Upon its early 1997 release, Earthling received generally positive reviews, yet the album failed to gain an audience, and many techno purists criticized Bowie for allegedly exploiting their subculture. hours… followed in 1999. In 2002, Bowie reunited with producer Toni Visconti and released Heathen to very positive reviews. He continued on with Visconti for Reality in 2003, which was once again warmly received.

Bowie supported Reality with a lengthy tour but it came to a halt in the summer of 2004 when he received an emergency angioplasty while in Hamburg, Germany. Following this health scare, Bowie quietly retreated from the public eye. Over the next few years, he popped up at the occasional charity concert or gala event and he sometimes sang in the studio for other artists (notably he appeared on Scarlett Johansson’s Tom Waits tribute Anywhere I Lay My Head in 2008).

Archival releases appeared but no new recordings did until he suddenly ended his unofficial retirement on his 66th birthday on January 8, 2013, releasing a new single called “Where Are We Now?” and announcing the arrival of a new album. Entitled The Next Day and once again produced by Visconti, the album was released in March of 2013.

Greeted with generally positive reviews, The Next Day debuted at either number one or two throughout the world, earning gold certifications in many countries. The following year, Bowie released a new compilation called Nothing Has Changed, which featured the new song “Sue (Or in a Season of Crime).”

This song turned out to be the cornerstone of Bowie’s next project, Blackstar. Arriving in January 2016, Blackstar found Bowie re-teaming with Tony Visconti and exploring adventurous territory, as signaled by its lead single, “Blackstar.”

David left us with the album Blackstar, in which critics are hailing as his most extraordinary effort in his amazing music career.

His music will live on and his fans will relish every note when they hear his songs played. Thank you David, for all of your musical contributions, you will be missed.

Exposed: David Bowie fake staged hoax death, dies at 69.

The number 69 and its usage by the Freemason Illuminati/Luciferian crowd.  Ronald Reagan’s association with the number 33 and being age 69 when he was first elected President of the United States.

These numbers and the manner in which they have been used predict the “raising ceremony” of the coming Antichrist/Lucifer.  The number 69 has always been used, and what it represents to the “enlightened ones” who are planning a New World Order for their “supernatural world leader”!

Just as the Washington Monument (Phallus) inside the circle represents sexual union in the place of dead spirits (hell), the number 69 is representative of the exact same thing as well.  The overall plan of Satan is to bring WORLD UNION to all nations under a New Global World Government over which his “chosen one” will rule.  The number “69” and its usage is very evident in Satan’s plan to accomplish this very thing right in plain view of all with “eyes to see”.

NASA is also involved in the “69 game” of calling for the birth of Antichrist/Lucifer.  The 69th Mission of NASA lifted off of runway “33”!  You should be able to understand how all these “spiritual numbers” of the Illuminati/Luciferian indoctrinated crowd believe in the “magi-ck” of these numbers to bring forth their soon to be exalted leader.
