Baptisms down, non-existent? Here’s more help!
The evangelism guys at the Georgia Baptist Convention are in the trenches with leaders of churches that consistently baptize well over the pitiful ratio typifying most SBC churches: it takes 50 Southern Baptists to win one person to Christ.
Why do some Georgia SBC churches absolutely obliterate that anemic percentage? Well, those guys at the GBC have launched a web site that features interviews with the leaders noted above. Go to the web site, and for every church name that is in blue font, click on that to discover what is working for that church.
Note that the same shoe doesn’t fit every foot. But, in order to even try on these “shoes,” one must have (or want) feet moving in the direction of lost souls. (Isn’t that what makes such feet beautiful?!)
