Fukushima is No Longer a Japanese Problem. It is a Global Media Blackout Problem. It is a West Coast Problem. It's Now Our Personal Problem...

% of readers think this story is Fact. Add your two cents.

”…a creeping and never ending deadly fog of radiation, invisible to the eye but not to the immune system, continues to blanket the West Coast while its human cost is just beginning to be perceived… And remember Obama ordered the EPA to stop weekly & monthly testing for radiation in April of 2011  .”

It’s Finally beng called “RADIOACTIVE FALLOUT”

”Be Afraid…” Fukishima is here… to stay?, it is no longer a Japanese problem ~ it is a growing world problem which is still being ignored. There’s an update on my report of May 14, 2013 (link below) where I demonstrated that a creeping and never ending deadly fog of radiation, invisible to the eye but not to the immune system, continues to blanket the West Coast while its human cost is barely being mentioned ~ mainly due to a worldwide media blackout : Allen L Roland

The Fukushima Genie that was released over two years ago is still spouting and leaking forth deadly radiation while silence remains supreme among the worldwide media.

A new study in April of 2013 suggested that nuclear fallout from Fukushima in March of 2011 has led to significant elevated rates of congenital thyroid illness among infants born on the West Coast and Hawaii ~ keeping in mind that President Obama not only denied this threat but ordered the EPA to stop weekly & monthly testing for radiation in April of 2011 . As such, a creeping and never ending deadly fog of radiation, invisible to the eye but not to the immune system, continues to blanket the West Coast while its human cost is just beginning to be perceived.

The West Coast of the USA and Canada radioactive now. No one will purchase any of the boats which are owned by West Coast residents. All these hundreds of thousands of dollar boats are lost forever, they will be restricted from every port away from the West Coast of the USA and Canada, they will be measured in RADS from now on. If you own a boat on the West Coast of the USA or Canada and did not move it 3 months ago, your investment is lost.

I think my computer and cell phone Radiat more .it weird that you don’t hear that people are dying in Japan

      • LifeIs

People have died in Japan. People have died in the US. Infants especially. But the big problem is that we are ingesting radioactive cesium in our food, and we all inhaled uranium and plutonium dust.

Chernobyl has killed a million people so far, most from cancer. Fukushima will kill hundreds of millions. Reactor 3 exploded. It is gone, as seen in high-resolution aerial photos taken shortly after the disaster began. The 90 or so tons of uranium and plutonium were blasted in to the air.

This will cause cancer. The fuel of reactors 1 and 2 melted into the ground, where it will continue to produce radioactive iodine and cesium.

IS THIS 1/3 of the Earth’s waters becoming bitter?

You do know that General Electric said what happen in Fukishima could never happen, technology is just so great. Most people with a semi-functioning brain can figure out that someone lied here. Now the bigger problem, Japan and the entire Pacific Rim is a geological time bomb, earthquake every where and how many Nuclear power plants are there within the Pacific Rim; A Lot. We have them, Canada has them, Russia, China and of course Japan, they need to phased out ASAP.
That Idiot Obama has declared war on coal, that F ing moron should have went after the Nuclear industry instead. We have clean coal technology, I don’t see any clean radioactive fall out technology or fool proof earth quake technology out there.

The radiation level is too small to be concerned about.

      • LifeIs

The radiation level is one thing, and we saw with Fukushima that the standard practice of under-reporting it by a factor of 1,000 WASN’T ENOUGH to make it appear safe.

INGESTED radioactive material is something else. What we eat gets deposited in bones and organs. What we inhale lodges in our lungs. The “radiation level” is small but the damage is great.

Reactor three blew up. High resolution aerial photos taken afterward show the reactor doesn’t exist. 90 tons or so of uranium and plutonium exploded and burned. We’ve been inhaling that.

The fuel of reactors one and two melted into the ground, where they will continue to produce and release radioactive cesium and iodine. And there is no way to stop it.

The increase in infant mortality across the US after Fukushima is just one problem. There will be disease and cancer from now on. Chernobyl has killed 1 million people so far. Fukushima is much, much, much, much worse.

      Why are you lying?

The graphic you’re using is a plot of WAVE HEIGHTS from the 2011 Honshu quake, and has NOTHING to do with radiation.

      http://nctr.pmel.noaa.gov/honshu20110311/

Do you think we’re stupid? Do you think that nobody has ever heard of TinEye? The orange color actually represents a four-inch tsunami wave.

    • mvpel

Don’t lie. This is a map of wave heights from the 2011 Honshu quake from NOAA, and has nothing to do with radiation levels.

    • he2

Honestly I find this to be a bit overly alarming. For sure there COULD be reason to be alarmed, but there’s omitted data on this page and it only serves to instill fear vs actually enlighten with factual data.

Specifically, let’s take that image of the NOAA map.

First NOAA’s source image is not provided as a hyperlink so that the reader can evaluate for himself what that image is and how it fits in.

The full image (my screenshot of it) is actually here: http://screencast.com/t/ymkabboZeEyr
      NOAA page is here: http://nctr.pmel.noaa.gov/honshu20110311/

As you can see, it is a measurement of wave amplitude from Fukushima’s tsunami.

The line above the image in this article on B4ItsNews implies it is “radioactive fallout”. It isn’t. It’s just the waves and how far they carried.

It should be left to the reader, given other facts which should be presented, to what degree that is carrying radioactivity or not.

Then we have this statement: “The Fukushima Genie that was released over two years ago is still spouting and leaking forth deadly radiation while silence remains supreme among the worldwide media.”

Ok, fine. How much? How does that compare to original levels? What are the specific, measurable FACTS regarding this?

Where’s the report/study that is mentioned so many times? I can’t find a citation that links to the actual report. Can anyone else? If so I’d like to see it. All I see is other pages which say there is a “new study”.

We get enough fear mongering from the lame stream media.

It’s disappointing when you see it in alternative sources too.

It also makes me wonder if there could be some other agenda involved? A vested interest in making sure nuclear energy is bashed heavily and poorly thought of in publc’s mind? I don’t know for sure either way but the above makes me wonder if it’s possible. Just being honest about the effects this kind of reporting can have.

If the purpose of the article is to make the reader take this area seriously, this article isn’t doing that, at least not for this reader.

“Just the facts…” That’s what’s important in matters like these.

And those facts need to be backed up by citations.

      • LifeIs

It is easy to find that the EPA raised “safe” levels of radiation by many thousands of percent, after Fukushima. It’s easy to find that the aircraft carrier Reagan had to spend a couple of years getting decontaminated after Fukushima. It’s easy to find that the US scrambled to evacuate military dependents from our bases in Japan after Fukushima. It’s easy to find that Tokyo residents in particular had children with bleeding noses and gastrointestinal symptoms of radiation poisoning, and that pets there died with the same symptoms.

It’s easy to find information about pneumonia deaths in Japan a month after the meltdowns, just as was seen at Chernobyl. It’s easy to learn about thyroid abnormalities in Japan now.

The reason I don’t need to look up sources for you is: It is admitted by the government of Japan that the fuel of three reactors escaped containment. That’s approaching 300 tons of uranium and plutonium. We saw video on the news of reactor 3 exploding into the air.
This is more contamination than you would get from a nuclear war.

Chernobyl killed a million people so far, mostly from cancer. Fukushima is much, much, much, much worse. As Brian Williams of NBC News said on the air, the news coverage “is designed to calm people.” You can find information about radiation in North America if you look.

        • he2

          I don’t doubt all that.

But if it’s so easy to cite all those references then I think you should cite them, not make the reader do it. Your article would look a lot more credible.

    • Solidus1

There is some solid objective evidence that the event at Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Plant is worse than Chernobyl. At a minimum, the world needs some honesty from the owners, TEPCO, and the Japanese government. As recipients of the legacy bad actors, we need to understand the actual extent of the damage and if the reaction has or has not been controlled (information currently available leads one to believe it is remains uncontrolled). http://coldwarwarrior.com/

        http://www.cnn.com/2011/WORLD/asiapcf/06/06/japan.nuclear.meltdown/index.html was the announcement.

3 nuclear reactors melted down after quake, Japan confirms
        By the CNN Wire Staff
        June 7, 2011 5:56 a.m. EDT

“On the basis of what they showed, if there’s not fuel left in the core, I don’t know what it is other than a complete meltdown,” said Gary Was, a University of Michigan nuclear engineering professor and CNN consultant.

We can forget the euphemisms concerning reactor 3…it ceased to exist March 14, 2011.
There are aerial pictures of the site, which show the reactor is gone. It exploded.

The explosion in the reactor 4 building needs to be explained. The reactor wasn’t running. The fuel was not in it. The top of the vessel was not in place. Post-disaster pictures prove that.

NOTHING has been contained, nothing can be. All of that talk was lies.
