Born and raised in Houston, I am a journalist, award-winning blogger, experienced community organizer, and touring national motivational speaker. I am a member of the Nation of Islam under the leadership of the Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan. I am a product of Forest Brook Senior High School and Prairie View A&M University. I have served as a writer for The Final Call Newspaper since 2004. The Final Call is the most widely circulated and only remaining independent national Black weekly in the United States.
