Glenn Gallas Bio Former candidate for US Congress Glenn Gallas inspires excellence in leadership. That’s because Glenn E. Gallas has always been an outstanding leader in the community, as a businessman, family man, and in the U.S Military. Glenn’s businesses, Mr. Rooter, Mr. Electric and Brite Ideas, consistently win local, national and international recognition for outstanding leadership in customer service and employer relations. Among awards received are: 2008 U.S. Chamber of Commerce Blue Ribbon Small Business Award, which goes to the top small businesses in the United States International Franchise Association Franchise of the Year Franchisee of the Year from the Mr. Rooter Corporation Franchisee of the Year for the Mr. Electric Corporation The Dwyer Group® Multi-Concept Franchisee of the Year Excellence in Leadership award from the Mr. Rooter Corporation and Mr Electric Corporations Excellence in Mentoring awards from the Mr. Rooter and Mr. Electric Corporations Glenn received the prestigious Presidential Community Service Award from President Clinton in 1991 for founding the Hot Springs/ Jonestown Community Association (JCA). Under Glenn’s leadership the organization lowered crime, created a public park and rehabilitated abandoned houses into affordable single family homes using private funds. Glenn has also served on the boards of the YMCA, the Better Business Bureau and the Champion Community Development Corporation. Glenn’s Army career, from 1984-2001 included active and reservist duty. As a regular Army soldier he was chosen to receive Non Commissioned Officer of the Year Award and later as an Army reservist he was selected to receive the same award. Glenn received numerous awards for his service and achievements. Glenn’s military duty included serving in several high profile units including the 82nd Airborne Division, the 12th Special Forces group and 431st Civil Affairs Battalion. While serving in the military he attended Campbell University and earned his degree in Business Administration Glenn. Gallas is the former Chairman of the Garland County Republican Committee, and Vice Chair of both the 4th District Republican Committee and the Arkansas Republican Chairman Assoc. He is a member of Gospel light Baptist Church where he leads an adult Bible study fellowship. Glenn and his wife, Trish, have three beautiful children, Ashley, Allison and Glenn, Jr . Glenn Gallas is a leader who inspires everyone around him to produce at their highest and best level.
