This blog is owned and maintained by Kathleen Madula, an IT professional by day that do freelance work as wedding coordinator and entrepreneur. She is born and raised in the Philippines. She started blogging using blogger the moment she graduated from college. Her first blog was in blogger. It was originally named as “Random Thoughts” and then changed to “Zufällige Gedanken” that also means random thoughts. “Zufällige” is a German word for “accidental chance” and “Gedanken” is a German word for ”thought“. The name was inspired by her pilgrimage in Europe that happened to be her first trip abroad. She was one of the delegates of the University of Santo Tomas for the 20th World Youth day in Cologne, Germany last 2005. She was a consistent blogger that time but eventually got busy when she finally landed on her full time day job as a Software Engineer in one of the Japanese companies in Ortigas. Eventually, she named it as “Daily Musings” but found out that there are many blogs out there that uses that same name so she made it personal thus “Kathleen’s Daily Musings” was born.
