Dino Jag musicians have teamed with Oxfam to raise awareness and funds for Haitians, still in dire need for survival supplies since hit with a powerful quake in 2010. 

On January 12, 2010, the worst earthquake in over 200 years, 7.0 in magnitude, struck 710 miles from the United States, less than 10 miles from Port-au-Prince, Haiti.

What followed was destruction unlike anything poverty-stricken Haitians had ever seen. In only few seconds, the quake killed approximately 300,000 people and left 1.5 million homeless – only 700 miles from wealth of the United States.

Video below: Hurricane Sandy floods U.S. neighbor nation, Haiti, where homeless earthquake victims are still under tents, many dying of cholera with little to no aid from America. Bri Kouri Nouvèl Gaye (Noise Travels, News Spreads) went into a camp to see the situation of people living there.

Now, three years later, much more work is needed to provide sustainable living conditions for the many thousands of Haitians who remain homeless and without most basic living conditions many of us take for granted each and every day.
