University Summit Attracts Higher Ed Thought Leaders

University leaders are registering now for the first Emsi University Summit, September 18-19, at the annual user conference in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

The event’s lakefront setting at the Coeur d’Alene Resort has limited seating to foster an intimate, collaborative roundtable approach that makes everyone a participant. The summit covers four themes, with speaker-led topics featured in presentations, panel rebuttals, and facilitated table discussions:

Marie Cini, Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at University of Maryland University College, speaking on how program alignment drives enrollment, student success, and ultimately career readiness.

Julie Gacnik, Associate Vice Provost for Enrollment and Academic Marketing at Creighton University, presenting on how successful completions begin by finding the right candidates and clarifying post-graduation opportunities.

Chris Cook, Director of Career Services at the University of Idaho, discussing the integration of labor market data into the university’s process and how integration has increased student engagement across the institution.

Tieming Lin, Director of Research and Reporting Services at the University of Washington Continuum College, discussing the college’s use of Emsi’s outcomes data in comparing the skills of their alumni with the rest of the workforce, identifying marketable skills and trends, and providing insight on program level outcomes on a more granular level than ever before.

Participants will enjoy shoulder-to-shoulder interaction with leaders in their respective fields who are leveraging labor market data in new and inspiring ways. The University Summit is designed to be a resource for sharing best practices and digging deep into practical applications.
