Why Santorum Vows To Stay Positive Against Romney

Rick Santorum has vowed to stay positive against Mitt Romney.  But, one has to question if this is because of his allegiance to the GOP establishment or because of the fact that Santorum and Romney both supported TARP bailouts for banks and both support a Federal Reserve system that allows banks to print out trillions of dollars that steals all it its value from money already in existence by inflating the money supply.  Romney, Santorum and Gingrich support the exact Hillary Clinton interventionist foreign policy that obtains minor tactical victories at the expense of any strategic coherence and proves that Hillary is often too smart by half.  These same candidates, as does Obama, all support the Federal Reserve manipulation of the interest rates and money supply to promote ruinous lending by banks and wasteful spending by government.  While I am not one who would normally stick up for the current Secretary of State, it is impossible to intelligently implement a schizophrenic foreign policy that is devoid of reality and common sense.  Such a situation creates unsolvable paradoxes that result in policy that is pregnant with unintended consequences and which branches and sequences into blowback that has continually served to work against our interests but serves to strengthen the very people we have identified as being our greatest threats, often only because we have misidentified actual enemies, arrogantly created them, or cluelessly cut off our nose to spite our face with regard to foreign policy.

Now it seems, according to Santorum, Gingrich, Romney and Obama, that Iran is a greater threat that al Qaeda, which was originally feared because of Bin Laden’s likelihood of establishing a world-wide Caliphate that would unite the entire Muslim population against the U.S. and implement Sharia law in Iowa.  Now we are trying to find an excuse via the U.N. to back al Qaeda’s  al-Zawahiri in his call for jihad for the purpose of toppling Assad’s Sunni Aliwite sect that knows any loss of power will mean a bloodbath many times more brutal than what happened to the Sunnis in Iraq.  This slaughter of the Sunnis in Iraq happened while the U.S. stood by and watched mass executions and tortures committed by Shiite government forces.  It is ludicrous that after we unleashed a maniacal bombing campaign with the combined strength of the U.S. and NATO in which we obliterated entire Libyan cities in order to protect them, that we would now be surprised to find Russia and China willing to exercise Security Council vetoes to prevent the U.S. from gaining a free hand in Syria.  The U.S. and NATO prevented any Libyan defense of its cities and population from rebel forces that included al Qaeda fighters and various imported Islamic militants as a no-fly zone morphed into a bombing campaign that lasted many months.   Now we find that the rebel forces are currently destroying Libya and Libyan tribes are in open revolt against National Transitional Coalition made up of foreign militants that have conducted mass executions of Libyans.  The country is polluted with depleted uranium and the 25-year and $21 billion Great Man-Made River Project and the production facilities for it have been erased from existence.  There is no way Assad, nor any of his fellow Alawites, will accept any deal with the U.S. and the Alawites know the Saudis are providing fighters and weapons in what has the potential to be a civil war that could turn Syria into a failed state.  But, before that will happen, the U.S. needs to understand that Iran will back Syria to the end and Russia and China may end up backing Iran to the end against the U.S.  Many believe the Iraq and Afghanistan “victories” may prove the a Pyrrhic victory that will allow a victory against Iran to be our ultimate undoing that will forever roll back American power across the globe.

It is a shame to get so side-tracked on foreign wars, but this little synopsis proves, as Ron Paul has so astutely discerned, that our foreign policy is unsustainable, incoherent and counter-productive.  It is precisely our foreign policy that had led to economic dysfunction, the withering of liberty with the expansion of the power of the DHS police state and with the military-industrial complex’s need for external threats and the waging of eternal war for eternal peace. 

It is our stupidity, arrogance and manipulation by Zionists that make us view Iran as a radicalized threat as opposed to a useful ally to the real threat from radicalized Sunnis exporting jihadism via Saudi Arabian madrassas, lest one forget that 15 of the 19 9/11 hijackers were from Saudi Arabia and received assistance through Saudi and Pakistani intelligence services.  Americans need to ignore GOP politicking and the manufacturing of a false reality that defines Iran as being an existential threat to Israel.  The Israeli defense establishment has unequivocally stated this is a lie.  It is time for the American people to cease being manipulated by propaganda and made the targets of a disinformation campaign.  While all the GOP candidates, with the exception of Ron Paul, fall all over themselves pandering to Israeli interests, a real debate goes on in Israel about the wisdom of waging war on Iran.  The debate is a much more contested issue in Israel than it seems to be with respect to GOP establishment politicians and the campaigns of Romney, Gingrich and Santorum.

People from Noam Chomsky on the left and CIA bin Laden hunter Michael Scherer on the right have all stated Ron Paul’s foreign policy assessments and views are the only ones that are not incoherent, involve strategic vision and will help to foster peace and prosperity.  But, any candidate not willing to take this nation to war for Israel will end up marginalized by the media.  With a billionaire Zionist casino owner funding Newt, Goldman Sachs funding Romney and Santorum being funded by Christian Zionist and pro-war hawk Foster Friess, it appears the issue between the candidates opposing Ron Paul will come down to issues of personality and management style as opposed to policy.  Except for what Ron Paul has to say, I feel stupider for having listened to Gingrich, Romney and Santorum while each all claim themselves to be the biggest conservative and disparages the other as being an Obama clone.  As far as each of them saying the other is a liberal, that is the only truth I have heard come out of their mouths.
