ESM, European Stability Mechanism, Dictatorship-in-Waiting, for United States of Europe?

What is the European Stability Mechanism, and in practice, what will it mean to the eurozone members ?

Recent background as follows;

Germany won support from the European Council in October 2010 for a new treaty. It would be a minimal amendment to strengthen sanctions and create a permanent bail-out mechanism. It would not fulfil the German demand to have the removal of voting rights as a sanction as that would require deeper treaty amendment. The treaty would be designed so there would be no need for referendums and for it to come into force in 2013 when the temporary bail-out mechanism expires. European Council President Herman Van Rompuy is to explore the changes through the simplified revision procedure. December 2010 the European Council agreed a two line amendment (see below) to the treaty that would avoid any referendums. It would simply change the EU treaties to allow for a permanent mechanism to be established. In March of the following year leaders also agreed to a separate eurozone-only treaty that would create the ESM itself.

In March 2011, the European Parliament approved the treaty amendment after receiving assurances that the European Commission, rather than EU states, would play ‘a central role’ in running the ESM.

On 16 December 2010 the European Council agreed a two line amendment. The text is being inserted into Article 136 of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union as paragraph 3 The amendment reads:

“ The member states whose currency is the euro may establish a stability mechanism to be activated if indispensable to safeguard the stability of the euro area as a whole. The granting of any required financial assistance under the mechanism will be made subject to strict conditionality.

All very nice and cozy, not any citizen of the entire EU was informed or asked to vote, it was all done autonomously.

So what we see before us is that out of the *created* chaos that is financial armageddon across the eurozone, *the authorities* underhandedly and by stealth have drafted up the outline of the ESM, to be introduced proper by 2013, thereby to conspire to seal the financial command control centre for the entire eurozone in Brussels.

Here are some of the powers of the ESM.

1. a figure of 700 billion is the starting figure for the fund to which member countries must contribute to, irrevocably and unconditionally

2. at any time thereafter, and at the total command of the ESM, a member nation will be demanded to contribute any figure the ESM sees fit to be handed over within 7 days (4 in banking terms) irrevocably and unconditionally

3. the ESM will be totally immune from all kinds of investigation, prosecution or accountability

4. all officers of the ESM will be totally immune from any and all kinds of investigation, prosecution or accountability

5. the ESM has all rights to prosecute or take legal action against any member state as it so wishes, if there is any disagreement with contributions demanded.

in each of the Eurozone countries, politicians have copies of this treaty therefore it is up to each and every citizen to speak to their political representatives and make noise, the 99% must speak up for national & financial liberty.

This will be the last chance you all have before the unnaccountable unelected power that is the United States of Europe swallows up your nation as Rome did in the days of the Roman Empire and all taxes, all revenue had to be paid to Caesar !!
