Our Medieval world

Private military force can resist law enforcement.  That’s why it’s so dangerous.  They can kill law enforcing officials.  Mercenaries want to start and prolong wars for profit. They get involved in racketeering and extortion when there are no wars going on.  A world awash with mercenaries is a world with more and more war.  Russia’s Wagner Group.  The USA’a Blackwater.  ISIS.   Mercenaries make the price of going to war lower.  They make the achieving of peace much harder.

There are about 190 nations.  Most are regimes or just dumpster fires.  The idea that nations can withstand the commercialisation of war is misplaced.  The video suggests the only ways the coming situation can be dealt with, and how it was dealt with in the past.
