MH370 Loved Ones Offered Shrinks, $5,000

Ahmad Jauhari Yahya, Malaysia Airlines chief, has announced that passengers’ loved ones had been offered 24-hour counselling and $5,000 (£3,000) each.

“They have no respect for us, no respect at all,” said Steve Wang, one of the relations. 

Anger in Beijing at the Malaysian authorities boiled over yesterday morning, according to Jonathan Pearlman in Kuala Lumpur and Malcolm Moore in Beijing for the Telegraph.

“In unprecedented scenes, up to 100 angry relations of flight MH370’s Chinese passengers descended on the Malaysian embassy in Beijing, hurling water bottles and chanting for two hours until a diplomat emerged to accept a letter of protest at the lack of information.”

Twelve hours earlier, relations were had been sent text messages to tell them all passengers were believed to have perished. 

After waiting almost an hour for a promised meeting with the Malaysian ambassador, they streamed out of their hotel, carrying placards and wearing T-shirts with the slogan “Save MH370.”

“They promised a full briefing at 10am, but they did not come,” Wang said, then stating what people in solidarity across the world want.

“We want the truth,” he said.

Four public buses were waiting, with police inside, to ferry them to the embassy for what appeared an organised protest. After waiting 20 minutes for the buses to depart, the passengers’ loved ones lost patience and decided to walk.

Chinese police shut down some of Beijing’s busiest roads and diverted traffic before the group marched one and a half miles in silence. They then burst into angry shouts outside the embassy gates.

The families of MH370′s 239 passengers demanded “proof” of the plane’s demise. Malaysian authorities presented analysis by Inmarsat, the British telecommunications company, of satellite data to explain its conclusion that the plane crashed into remote waters 18 days ago and left no survivors.

No confirmed wreckage from the plane has been found.  Even if plane debris it is found, it is unlikely to prove what really transpired. Too many authorities and aviation whistleblowers have stated the plane was hijacked and flown remotely.

Since the United States government has comprised most of the official top MH370 Boeing search and rescue team, and no information could be released without all team members concurring, the crisis appeared to be one possibly manufactured in a U.S.-led black operation. Should this be another case, tragically, MH370 passengers and their loved ones would be added to a list of millions of others around the world known as collateral damage in America’s quest for Full Spectrum Dominance.

Chinese government officials have demanded that all MH370 records be handed over to them.
