Browsers And Extensions

I have had an Apple computer forever.  I have tried a couple of browsers.  I used to use Chrome, but for some reason, it really slowed down my computer.  I went back to Safari.  However, I am intrigued by the browser Brave for a lot of reasons.

The first is that they provide totally private browsing with no tracking etc.  I also use DuckDuckGo as my search engine for the same reasons.  It’s not that I am doing anything nefarious, I am not. However, my data is mine and I create it.  I will be excited when there is a blockchain company that blows down all the walled gardens on the internet.

The other reason is I really like 4 Degrees.  There hasn’t been an extension for Safari, but there is one for Chrome that works on Brave.

I am having some trouble switching.  I have to manually enter a lot of passwords which I do as I visit sights.  For some reason, when I hit the “import passwords” button on Brave I don’t get them imported. I just think that Chrome and Safari don’t want to play nice in the sandbox with a competitive browser.

The other thing I am looking at doing is making my browsing more efficient.

Are there any extensions you have installed on your browser that you really like.  I installed 4Degrees and some others on mine.  I am looking for some more useful ones.
