RYAH Medtech wins CE mark for RYAH vaporizer and sets sights on European market

RYAH Medtech Inc announced Thursday that its novel dose-measuring dry herb RYAH vaporizer has received a CE mark from the British Standards Institute.

The certification is a critical part of New York-based RYAH Medtech’s expansion strategy in Europe.

The company hopes to penetrate the European region with its RYAH vaporizer, proprietary dry herb cartridges and real-time data analytics solution.

RYAH Medtech’s vaporizer is the first device that allows patients to precisely control dosage and temperature.    

“Countries around the world are embracing the health benefits of dry herb medicine and we believe the RYAH vaporizer will be an essential tool to add legitimacy to the international market,” says Jordan Medley, head of product operations at RYAH Medtech. “The user-generated, HIPAA-compliant data that RYAH collects is expected to be instrumental in enabling physicians to make educated recommendations to help patients optimize their relief and avoid negative experiences from medicating with plant-based medicine.”

Medley says the CE mark paves the way for the company to “shortly initiate” the RYAH vaporizer’s launch in Europe.

A recent report by Prohibition Partners said Europe is likely become the world’s largest legal plant-based treatment market over the next five years.

RYAH said the company plans to roll-out several clinical delivery mechanisms for dose measuring and data collection.

The RYAH cloud solution provides doctors and patients with the ability to track which plant strains work best for their specific needs, while continuously collecting data for growers, pharmacies, laboratories and pharma companies to help improve the effectiveness of medical plant dosing.
