I is just a dumb kid from Kailua, Hawaii, barefoot, and out of da swamps of Kawainui trying to learn the ways of da world.  I learn a lot from geniuses like doze who post on “Before It’s News” and odder such deep tinkers.  Howevah, me no understand da use of da word “pejorative” dat a Hawaii boy had used.  Consequently, me had to go check with Webstah’s Dictionary.  I nevah know Hawaii boys use such highfalutin words as “pejorative,” which I fine out, means “belittling.”

Liberal as Explained in Pidgin English

I nevah did tink dat “liberal” was a belittling word.  Is no different den “conservative”— is only opposite in meaning.  Howevah, some mus tink dat “liberal” has a negative connotation to it … but not me.  It is just a denotation dat identifies somebody who believes in social programs, government takin care of the masses, and entitlements … among odder tings like “spread da wealth.”  I no support such stupid tinking.

Dus, my deah bruddah, me no belittle you or anyone else who subscribe to da liberal tinking.  Me just disagree with dat approach and feel it takes us down da pat to socialism an eventually communism.  An dat should be okay fo me to tink dat way as it is for you to tink da odder way.  If you do not continually question my conservative approach and everyting went my way, I could end up taking us in a direction we should not go … and dis would be without me realizing dat I go down da wrong pat!  Likewise, vissa versa, if I do not question yo liberal approach to tings, you may lead us down da wrong pat also.  By dis constant opposition, we usually end somewheah in da middle dat is at least palatable for boat paties involved.

Liberalism

These are the reasons why if you lean more towards liberalism, you should be proud of it, not ashamed of it.  When I was a liberal, I was proud of it.  Now, I am proud to be a true conservative.  Remember, I started from a young man as a true liberal.  However, the more educated and the more mature I became, I found that my thinking started to transition and, voila, one day I realized I was a true conservative and no more a true liberal.  Ronald Reagan, Dennis Miller, and many other such people made the same transition.

Therefore, if you or anyone else is a liberal thinker, be proud of it and accept the denotation.  Some people are so ashamed of the liberal denotation because they fear it has a negative connotation.  Hence, they attempt to create other denotations such as progressive, secular progressive, humanist, and other such nonsense.  Some attempt to avoid it all together and denote themselves as independents, centrists, moderates, or middle-of-the-roaders.  Actually, they are mug-wumps (i.e., fence straddlers), which are much worse than liberals.  Above all, do not think that it is bad, evil, or wrong to denote yourself as a liberal.  It is just something that I do not believe in anymore and feel that being conservative is a better way to go.  That’s all.

Global Warming

Now, let’s talk about global warming.  Global warming is a global hoax perpetrated on us by Al Gore, chief huckster and promoter.  Remember, Al Gore also claims that he, all by himself, had invented the Internet.  That is a starter for the credibility of this man.  Al Gore knows little of global warming.  The best that we can say for Al Gore is that he is erudite on the subject, which means that he acquired his global warming knowledge mainly by reading books and works of others.  He has not done any original scientific research on global warming and, therefore, does not have a firm grasp of and grounding in that technical topic.

Now, the liberal politicians and the liberal media have created the huge, growing environmental industry.  Liberal institutions of higher learning have latched onto this bonanza and have receive billions of dollars in grants, government contracts, and funding to perform research in some of the strangest environmental areas of study.  Liberal scientists who go along with this agenda grow their funding by distorting their research data to support the liberal politicians’ agenda.  Have you ever wondered why they get more and more funding?  They even fudge their data to prove that global warming is actually occurring.  I read a recent article that showed liberal scientists receive an exorbitant amount of environmental research funds over conservative scientists.  That makes sense why they skew global warming research data to support the global warming claim.  As Michael Reagan says, “Just follow the money trail.”

The ambient worldwide temperature may have increased about a degree over the past century.  However, I find it amusing that people can actually tell me that they “feel” it is getting warmer.  I would like to see anyone tell me that he or she can feel that the temperature at 30 degrees F is colder than when it is at 31 degrees F.  I would like to see anyone tell me that they can feel the temperature at 110 degrees F is warmer than when it was at 109 degrees F.  They absolutely cannot do that!  Only a thermometer can do that.  However, because of their clouded mental pre-conditioning by the liberal press/media, they can actually say that they can feel this 1 degree F difference in temperature.  What a laugh!

Therefore, no, I do not subscribe to the global warming assertion that the earth is getting warmer.  If the average earth’s temperature changed from 75 degrees F to 100 degrees F in a year’s time-period, now I would start taking the assertion seriously.  Until then, scientists have shown that the earth’s average temperature has ebbed and flowed throughout the ages.  There is nothing to be concerned about regarding this matter.  These people should be more concerned about the Global War on Terror (GWOT), because it could end the world, as we know it, before global warming would ever become a real concern.

Clinton and Bush

I had felt that Bill Clinton could have been a great president if he only could keep his tubular motivator or “junk” in his pants.  If he had not swayed in whatever direction the wind blew, he would have made much better decisions as a world leader.  For one thing, we would have captured Osama bin Laden (OBL) or Usama bin Laden (UBL) depending on what papers you read.  Now, capturing and trying OBL would have been a significant accomplishment in deed.

George W. Bush has been the biggest disappointment for me in anyone that I have supported in the past.  Not closing the borders and promoting the Security and Prosperity Partnership and North American Union (SPP/NAU) had me fully perplexed.  For these things, in my mind, he could go down as the worst president in US history.  Not really; Obama has him beat.  Remember what Gorbachev did to the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics (USSR) and Communism by bringing them to their knees?  Bush could have done the same thing for the United States of America (USA) and democracy (as we know them) when he turned into a liberal during the last year of his second term.  Sad.  That’s why I became an un-Republican and am now a “strict constructionist” constitutional conservative.

America’s Wars

I quote Sun Tzu frequently in my book titled Principles of Asymmetrical Warfare: How to Beat Islamo-fascists at Their Own Game.  I firmly believe that we should never go to war unless we go with the primary goal to win.  If we are going to fight a war of attrition of our own troops (as is currently happening in Afghanistan and Iraq), then we should not be in such wars.  Our idiotic politicians run that kind of a war, which is a sure fire way to end as losers as we did in Korea and Vietnam.  Now, it looks like we are also losing in Afghanistan and Iraq.

We should delegate the fighting of wars to the military generals (Joint Chiefs of Staff) and give them the mandate to “go win it.”  We should provide them with all of the resources needed to accomplish their mission, which is to win.  All politicians should stay out of their way and let the generals go win the war.  If we are not in wars to win them, then, we should get the Hades out of there.

War is hell.  In war for our nation’s survival, there should be no holds barred.  Let the generals do whatever it takes to win the war.  If we had General George S. Patton, Jr., here today, and we gave him the command and mandate to go win the GWOT, he would do that and probably accomplish that mission in 12 months.  Someone told me that Patton was a liberal Democrat.  So what?

I really don’t care what politics Patton beheld.  All I care about was his ability to fight and win a war.  However, he would probably have a difficult time fighting a war under today’s Democrats—especially Obama.  Democrats in his day were warriors, e.g., FDR, Truman, JFK, and LBJ.  Today, they are nothing but “cut and run” pacifists, anti-war, and anti-military, e.g., Carter, Clinton, Edwards, Obama, and Hillary.  Notice the huge transition going from FDR to the next Democrat president after GWB retired, which ended up being Obama.  That’s why I changed from Democrat to Republican in the ‘60s.  John Kennedy was the last of the true Democrat warriors, and he died (was assassinated) in 1963.

If Lincoln lost the Civil War, his name would be dirt today.  It always pays to be a winner.  If John Kennedy was here today running for president, he would not stand a chance against the people currently in control of the Democrat Party.  In fact, if he ran as a Republican today, he would be a sure winner.  He was so conservative as compared to the Democrats of today.  I guess that is why I was a registered Democrat and voted for him in 1960.  That’s over 50 long years ago.  My transformation from a liberal to a conservative was already taking place when Kennedy was president.

The current Republicans in leadership today are sadly shifting to the left.  Some of these people are RINOs.  McCain, Graham, Grassley, Lugar, Snowe, Collins, Brown, and Murkowski are all RINOs.  Former President George W. Bush is a RINO and a globalist.  The Republican Party is in deep trouble.

If someone formed a third party today, say, the American Conservative Party, I would join it.  As it currently stands, our country is sliding down a slippery slope.  The transformation has been quite drastic over the past 50 years and exponential in the past 2 years.  Sad.  That is just my opinion.
