Jellyfish East Coast of Florida Peninsula State Park *PICS*
On Monday the 21st day of Feb, I took a ride to the beach East Coast of Florida Peninsula State Park
again to see how the beach look after a few months since my last postings on this area.
There are thousands of feathers from birds of many types that had washed ashore littering the beaches as before.

In the hundred yards of the beach I walked, there is a fresh wash in of more jellyfish here today.
There are large jelly’s,
as well as small jelly’s coming ashore.
Some as little as 3 inch’s tall.
The largest I saw were about 12 inch’s across. Notice the red/brown that is different from the normal pattern of yellows on the above jelly ?
The colors are red brown around the edges, could this be oil ?
and although there seems to be a pattern of this breed as seen in the smaller ones,
The larger ones seem to have more color and darker,
so I wonder if the color is from something in the waters and may be adding to the death of the jellies. There has been recent red tide algae reported but is not blooming. Dolphins eat jellyfish.
There have been numerous reports of unusual beaching of jellies since early July here on the east coast.
Photo from report below, … My report Link : There was also a foam in the waters then.
