Tips to Cure GASTRITIS Permanently in 2018

Gastritis, as the name suggests, is the inflammation of the lining of stomach. The attack of gastritis can occur suddenly and last for two to three days, also known as acute gastritis. It is known to occur with the consumption of NSAIDS. Gastritis is a commonly occurring problem and can be cured with dietary modifications and simple remedies.

The symptoms of gastritis includes the following:

  • Heartburn

  • Vomiting

  • Belching

  • Pain in abdomen

  • Spasm in stomach

  • Hiccups

  • Accompanied headache

  • Bloating in stomach

  • Tarry black stool

Now the main question arises, how to cure gastritis permanently? Gastritis can be cured if proper diet modification is followed. The conventional treatment protocol is the usage of antacids or proton pump inhibitors which will reduce the content of acid in the stomach. It has been found that the cause of gastritis is Helicobacter pylori, so care should be taken to avoid the foods found to have the incorporation of this bacteria and to consume those foods that kills H.Pyori in stomach.

Some of the dietary tips for the cure of gastritis

  1. Intake of broccoli – It is a food rich in sulphorane and helps in killing the H.pylori in the intestinal lining and decreases the acidic content. Some people do not like the taste of broccoli, but they are supposed to eat at least two to three times a week for better health. It is a very strong food even in cases which are resistant to antibiotics.

  2. Avoid foods that increase the symptoms of gastritis – It is very common among people who suffer this to know which foods causes their gastritis to be aggravated or relieved. The simplest way for them is to maintain a diary that keeps a record of their food intake and those resulting in symptoms. For example, coffee, chocolates and spicy foods like pepper or red chilli pasta can aggravate the condition.

  3. Garlic cloves - They are found to be a very effective antifungal and antimicrobial food. The garlic cloves can be taken directly or in the form of capsules. Two to 3 cloves a day can be useful in gastritis cure.

  4. Consumption of water kept in brass containers – It may be new to some people, but it is a long known fact the water kept in brass containers and consumed early in morning will help to reduce the acidic content of the stomach.

  5. Consumption of fruits like papaya - Papaya contains papain, which acts as an anti-inflammatory substance to heal the lining of the stomach. So consuming papaya on an empty stomach can cure gastritis permanently.

  6. Probiotics – Probiotics are rich in lactobacillus which helps to keep the normal flora of the gut in a healthy state. It is advised not to overlook using probiotics. Natural probiotics like curd or yogurt can help cure pain and bloating in the stomach.

  7. Intake of foods which causes the reversal of medication and relieves the symptoms – Apart from probiotics, which causes the reversal of gut flora, there are many other foods and drinks which are also known to decrease the symptoms of heartburn, bloating and abdominal pain. For example, apple cider vinegar, green tea, carrot juice and cranberry juice are just a few.
