The prosecutor’s office has formally arrested a man. Who along with another person, is suspected of inciting a crowd that abducted 2 innocent men from a jail cell, and burned them alive in Acatlán de Osorio, Puebla, Mexico. The victims were accused of having abducted “crying children” and holding them in their vehicle. They were kept in jail as “protection”.

Petronillo N.

Petronillo N. is charged with intentional homicide, damage to property, and injuries against public officials.

It was established that Petronillo N. and Manuel N. were both arrested as being suspected of inciting the mob action that led to the killings of the two men. The victims were identified as Alberto Flores Morales, 53, and Ricardo Flores Rodríguez, 22, an uncle and nephew.

Peculiarly, Manuel N. died in custody, officially reported the cause to be cirrhosis of the liver.

Ricardo had just arrived at the family farm a day earlier. He was in law school.

8 states, so far, have sent out statewide alerts against the “Fake News” [they used English] of kidnappings for organs that have caused innocents to be tortured and killed, based on rumors spread through WhatsApp and social media.

After the these barbaric killings, 5 additional killings, 4 burnings have transpired because of the “child kidnapper” rumors.

“It is a phenomenon that is happening at a national level,” said José Arturo Delgado, Puebla coordinator of the Amber Alert project for missing persons, under the State Attorney General. He noted that there are no cases of children kidnapped in Puebla.
