Calling something a “fact” does not make it so. There e are simply ZERO statistics to back-up his empty claims that illegals commit more crimes than our own US home-grown terrorists — GOOGLE it or utilize other research methods, for gods sakes. This is more right-wing propaganda to spoon-feed the indignant masses who want to pin their plight on foreigners (who happen to be paying a good portion of your taxes and social security bills, in case you haven’t noticed, for the jobs you don’t want — while getting no government benefits for themselves out of it). Take a look at who is behind this organization if you care to do anything outside of your own echo-chamber. And while your heads are so easily distracted to the southern border at a migration problem the US itself directly helped to create given its corrupt role in Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Honduras and Mexico (if you bother to know ANY of our history in Latin America)– keep ignoring the REAL threat from Russia and China. Back in the 60′s as a kid, I used to jump over the border to play with my US buddies in the Peace Arch Park (the US had a playground on their side) the difference… I went back to Canada in the evening and to live my life. I have grown up, raised a family and visited the US many times since I was a kid. I have always gone in front of US Border Agent and asked permission to enter and was never denied. That is the relationship that most people from the US, Mexico and Canada expect will happen when they wish to “visit”. However this isn’t the world we live in anymore. As stated throughout these threads, people looking for a better life or not wanting to follow process and bad people…really bad people are seeking to jump that border and create chaos with their actions. As has happened many time throughout history, countries build walls to protect their way of life. Strictly from a none emotional and ethically balanced perspective, the wall makes sense. It allows the border agents to focus on civilized and respectful entry into their country. It also allows the American economy to redirect money from housing illegal immigrants(jails, sanctuary cities, etc.) to creating support and education for those coming in legally. Not sure why the Democrats can’t see that this cat and mouse game at the border needs to happen anymore. Simple financial sense should prevail. TK
