People of El Chapito: recordings of members of the Sinaloa Cartel

Through social networks, videos recorded by alleged sicarios of the Sinaloa Cartel circulate in which they boast their weapons, and even women exhibit their figures while operating heavy firepower.

After Joaquín Guzmán Loera, alias El Chapo, was found guilty of the charges against him in a federal court in the United States, everything seems to indicate that a faction of the organization is led by Ivan Archivaldo Guzmán Salazar, El Chapito, arrested in 2005 for alleged money laundering, but released only three years later for lack of evidence.

The people of El Chapito have taken advantage of social networks to show their power from Sinaloa. With phrases like ‘the brothers continue at 100 percent’, the members of the cartel boast their vehicles and their tactical equipment.

Some videos, filmed in broad daylight, show how groups of armed men are organized aboard custom-made armored trucks equipped with weaponry exclusively used by the Army.

Some sequences of images, presumably recorded in ranches or isolated places in the sierra, highlight the large number of cars that are occupied by members of the Sinaloa Cartel to travel.

Other videos show the interior of the vehicles to show off the weapons that each hit man carries, the security devices with which they count on to protect themselves from their enemies, and the radios with which they anticipate the ambushes of the guardians of order.

Even some images are taken in the poppy fields, where they monitor the progress of the precious crops.The recordings, although they exhibit the Sinaloa Cartel’s armament, are perfectly shot so as not to reveal the identity of the members.
