The detainee, only 25 years old, according to the authorities is part of a criminal group that operates in the municipality of Comalcalco and other points in the area of La Chontalpa, dedicated to committing high-impact crimes, mainly extortion (tax collection).
El Tacubayo is connected to the execution of the two women named Mariana “N” and Isabela “N” (mother and daughter). Who on April 21st, when they were aboard their Sahara Jeep were attacked close to the Pemex central station, in Comalcalco. Two minors were also injured, fortunately, they came out unharmed from the hail of bullets.
The motive for this aggression, according to the Police investigation was due to a disagreement over the collection from the criminal group. The criminals acted out in revenge against the siblings of those who refused to give them money.
