Here is another little know fact for all the imperialists who think the U.S. has the right to do whatever it wants, wherever it wants, whenever it wants, to whoever it wants.  It seems your dogma was run over by your karma.

Ships are not so secure or armed that a company of commandos could not be dropped on to a ship to US Attacked and Completely Destroyed Iraqi and Iranian Oil Platforms

commandeer the ship and ram it into an oil platform.

With the U.S. penchant for bombing Iraqi and Iranian oil platforms, how difficult would it be to send a torpedo or depth charge down a mile to detonate and destroy the subsurface well and then attack the platform?  If the U.S. attacks Iran, does anyone think it is not likely they can and will attack oil platforms in the same manner the U.S. has attacked their platforms in the past?  Iran does have submarines.  Here is a great idea for terrorists or state actors who are looking for another way to attack America.  What happens if the enemies we created decided to take the cue from the Gulf of Mexico disaster and the 9/11 disaster and combine the two and start ramming ships into oil platforms?

As Iran opened its bourse, a commodities market that Iran seeks to eventually be used to set benchmark prices for crude and for countries to buy and sell oil in currency other than the petrodollar, its internet cables we repeatedly cut.  Experts concur that this could only happen through a deliberate act.  Some of the cuts were attributed to ships dragging six ton anchors across the ocean floor.  It is surmised that some of the other cuts were the direct result of submarines or saboteurs.

It is also interesting that the country the U.S. liberated from Saddam is now blanketed in depleted uranium.  The people, free from Saddam, are now free to die from the poisoning caused by depleted uranium.

What you target and attack of the enemy’s can also be targeted and attacked by the enemy.  Now that the U.S. has a vested interest in Iraq oil platforms working, its vulnerability is now in trying to protect that which it had shown it was willing to destroy.

Here is proof that this is already being done: www.guardian.co.uk/world/2004/apr/26/iraq.rorymccarthy

As car bombs became the poor man’s air force, speedboats may become the poor man’s navy.  If speedboats and subs begin hitting oil platforms, the U.S. will find when it has to defend everything, it will end up defending nothing

As the U.S. funded the Taliban and taught them how to expel invading powers, the U.S. military now faces defeat in Afghanistan by these same actors who learned these lesson exceedingly.  Now a country with no air force, navy, tanks, heavy weapons, or combined-arms army bring exposes the truth: that no country ever had a military so powerful that it could prevent war in times of peace or guarantee victory in times of war.

As violence becomes the principle upon which the U.S. is founded, lying becomes its native language.  It has been said that the U.S lies like the Israelis, and the Israelis lie like people blink.  But all this talk of democracy is rubbish if the government directs disinformation and propaganda against its citizens.  Democracy depends on the truth, but government through deception is tyranny.  We are not really free if we can’t control our own government and its policies. And we will never do that if we remain ignorant.  If the power elite get what they wants through deception as opposed to force, this attack on republican self-governance is all the more dangerous because it has let an enemy inside the gates.

Protracted war, as the ones in the Middle East are, always serve to endanger the freedom of a democratic country, this is just the path down which our rulers in Washington have decided to take us.  These crimes against humanity, regardless of what the facts for war end up proving in the way of malevolence of motive, will go unpunished as people decide to give mass murder legitimacy when committed as part of policy by actors that are more used car salesmen than statesmen.

Americans have witnessed the repeated failure of the military to impose peace by war, democracy by coercion, and unanimity by slaughtering dissidents.  A nation of people who seem to refuse to submit will never grant their support to external invaders who attempt to establish order and impose their will through bullets and bombs.  Most Americans do not know that under Saddam there were no incidents of suicide bombers.  So, it can be said that it was Bush who brought car bombs to Iraq because of his ignorance of second and third order effects.

As no empire can exist without a great military and militaristic governance, no republic based on liberty can exist with such.  When we begin to take pride in our being Americans, we then ignore that America is great because of the excellence of its people and institutions.  People think this mass murder through war infers upon them the greatness based on where their mother’s womb happened to be when contractions started.  They then become “men who think in jingoism and speak in bullets”.  The time will come when those who relished in statism will be exposed as parasites and those who dissented, rebelled, and raised hell are recognized as the true patriots and defenders of liberty.  It is the patriot who hates the injustice inflicted by his government because he knows it debases his country.

It seems in Iraq, Afghanistan, and Iran, that we are doomed to exhaust all avenues of violence, torture, murder, and insanity until we are forced by circumstance to rid ourselves irrationality.  Our leaders claim to be acting in accordance with our welfare and national greatness.  This is always the excuse given by tyrants.  Our leaders maintain their violence through lies and their lies can only be maintained through violence and indoctination.

Our government wants to ensure we know everything about the Iranian nuclear program, but if government wants us to know all this, it is because it probably isn’t true.  Why is it we need to know about this but we don’t need to know about the interests that were in play as Kennedy was assassinated in Texas?  Why is it that the government ensures we can never find out?

Our state of war has served every excuse for domestic tyranny.  The land of the free has the highest percentage of population in jail or on probation and parole.  We are now the most spied-on nation and our president now has the power to claim anyone an illegal combatant and torture and hold him indefinitely.  The government now can claim “national security” to carry out any act of tyranny and we meekly submit.

These wars of aggression for corporate profits have merged government, military, and business interests into a force aligned against the people.  These wars have served as the surest and shortest means of destroying our liberty, peace, and prosperity.  As abuses that become increasingly great overseas have been tolerated and rationalized, so to have the abuses by domestic law enforcement.  We find that the coercive practices we have inflected on others through government will, in the end, threaten us. We have paid homage to violence by viewing it as a means of security, tradition, and honor, when actually it is nothing more than a guise to hoard power and wealth, but that power and wealth obtained through violence must be forever maintained by violence.

The truth of the Iraq quagmire has gone through the three stages of revelation.  Those against the war were mocked, then they were attacked, and now their reasoning and logic seem self-evident.  Statism needs militarism, confiscation, and war to survive. Free countries are maintained through production of goods that serve the individual.

As the Iraq and “Afpak” war has sequenced and branched into one miscalculation after another, we fail to recognize that for ever insurgent we kill, we kill ten innocents, and for each innocent we kill we create ten insurgents.  In the end we kill one Iraqi or Afghan insurgent and create a hundred more.  This type of warfare forces you to forget about civilians, otherwise its entire legitimacy is called into question as you destroy villages in order to save them.

When we finally become as interested in preventing the dead as we are in honoring them, we will end this insanity.  Until the we will continue to believe we are fighting for victory when we are more akin to a gambling addict throwing good money after bad thinking we can hit it big and win it all back.  We have become so addicted to war that the physiology of what sustains liberty has become as twisted and pathological as a heroin addict’s physiological need to maintain homeostasis and comfort through another fix.

Our leaders tell us they are indispensable to our nation, freedom, security and prosperity, but the graveyard and history are also filled with such indispensable rogues who have talked us into trading liberty for security and promised utopia.   These same people count on people to be willing to trade their lives for a ribbon.  Our leaders persuade us to die for an idea without examining if the idea is true.  The intellectual dissonance they create causes absurdities that cannot possibly exist as motivation for atrocities.  Hence it has become an old saying that “fighting for peace is like fornicating for virginity”.

The refusal of Democrats and Republicans to acknowledge the crimes of our imperial masters and to stand idlely by for fear of electing someone like Ron Paul has been a greater threat to public welfare than any tyranny committed by Hitler.  This is because in Nazi Germany the entire nation was only a single bullet away from fixing itself.  Where WWII was as war that was acknowledged by the world as a national crime, we have not only failed to prosecute those who have instigated and engaged in mass murder, we have actually supported those who should be prosecuted as criminals.  It is the decay in the principles of liberty that have allowed us to suffer this.

While Bush and Obama tell others to go and fight, name me one emperor that was ever struck by a cannonball.  We have allowed our leaders to make war and fear of terrorism a political tactic designed to raise their popularity ratings.  We never analyze if a war is just, but care more about if it is successful.  We then allow our leaders to continue war for no other reason than that they don’t lose.  We listen to them tell us about national honor and sacrifice as they become exponentially richer having invested heavily in the warfare state and have pecuniary interests is the material that ends up being the booty of their imperial conquest.  We then elect a person like Bush who has proven the weapons he commanded were far more complex than his thinking process could ever be.  We then go on to let him dictate to a nation of free people knowing full well that his motives are not idealistic motives for democracy, peace, or liberty, but instead are all about power and money.  Both Bush and Obama have proven to be blind enthusiasts for military action as a first resort.  It is difficult to reconcile how Obama can get a Nobel Prize for peace and be dedicated to war as a means of creating a civil government.

It has been our failure to document the lies in the Iraq war and hold those responsible who issued such that is ensuring we continue down the path of being on constant warfare footing.  These failures to hold individuals responsible will ensure we remain on that path as we head from Afghanistan and Iraq into Iran.  Our leaders think we can bomb and shoot our way into peace and prosperity while it is clear to see we have created more enemies and are less secure and prosperous.

While our method of imperil conquest has not changed at all, our rationales are always morphing.  We fight in the name of religion, economic systems, drugs, security, or terror.  The rationale for our quest towards global domination is always changing to add a thin veneer of legitimacy to the impulses that driven men to make war throughout history. Our belligerent state permits itself every such misdeed, every such act of violence, as would disgrace the individual while we end up being sucked into its paradigm.

War is not our foreign policy.  It is our domestic policy.  Our politicians sit behind big walls and big desks and commit every crime known to man on a mass scale.  When the world finally holds people like Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Obama, Clinton, and Biden responsible, only then will politicians fear, and war become the last resort.  When politician have to follow the rule of law, with violations for such being as swift and sure as a speeding fine, only then will the race to war end.
