Israel has bombed a refugee shelter north of Gaza. It is feared dozens of Palestinians were killed there. Estimates are that over 150 are wounded. Gaza ‘Bloodbath’ Prompts UN investigation Into Israel Perpetrated Massacre As Death Toll Passes 700, Over 4500 Wounded. United States was the sole UN member to vote against the probe into Israel’s massacre of Palestinians.
Israel bombed another UN refugee shelter less than one hour ago. The shelter is in Biet Hanoun, north of Gaza. Ten Palestinians were killed an dover 150 injured.
Israeli forces are preventing ambulances from the latest massacre scene.
“There is literally no safe place for civilians” in Gaza, the UN has stated.
The death toll passed 700 in Gaza Wednesday, with over 4500 injured.
Talks to end Israel’s 16-day assault on the Gaza Strip intensified and most of the world’s UN members voted for it to launch a probe Wednesday into Israel’s attacks.
The UN Human Rights Council has launched a probe into Israel’s Gaza offensive, backing Palestinians’ efforts to hold Israel up to international scrutiny for war crimes.
The UN 46-member council backed a Palestinian-drafted resolution by 29 votes, with Arab and Muslim countries joined by China, Russia, Latin American and African nations.
The United States was the sole member to vote against the probe.
European countries, Japan and South Korea abstained from voting.
“The voting came as bloodbath in the Gaza Strip continued unabated with Israel and Hamas refusing to back down in the 16-day conflict that has killed over 680 Palestinians and 31 Israelis,’ Reuters reports.
The Israeli assault has killed over 706 Palestinians and wounded more than 4,519, according to Gaza health ministry sources Wednesday.
34 Israelis, 32 of whom were soldiers, and a Thai worker died in Israel.

Col. Richard Kemp, the former commander of all British forces in Afghanistan, is in Israel this week to lend support to the military campaign in Gaza and to take on take on detractors who claim the Israeli army is perpetrating war crimes there.

UN: Most Gaza Casualties Were Given Chance to Flee:
A United Nations report has confirmed that Israel is doing its utmost to avoid collateral damage in the Gaza Strip while fighting an enemy that uses its civilian population as a human shield.
The situation report published by the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) notes that while Israel has carried out over 900 strikes against Gaza, the majority of civilian casualties resulted from the specific targeting of a few dozens homes either belonging to senior Hamas terrorists, or which were used by the group to hide missiles and other weapons.
The report goes on to point out that in regards to the targeting of these homes, “in most cases, prior to the attacks, residents have been warned to leave, either via phone calls by the Israel military or by the firing of warning missiles.”

Egypt is Israel’s ally. They have blocked the border to Gaza. The Palestinians have nowhere to go. And they shouldn’t have to flee in the first place. The Israelis started aggression back in June on the pretext of three kidnapped children, well before Hamas began firing rockets. There were a few non-Hamas rockets fired, but no serious damage from them.
The Israelis have committed many massacres against the Palestinians, not just this one. Many had no pretext at all.
To say this is based upon three kidnapped children is to have zero understanding of the history Hamas and Gaza.

Have you taken the time to look at a map of the Middle East? Seen any Jewish countries surrounding little Israel? I don’t think so…how about 500 million+ Arabs to 6 million Jews. Who is the fish in a barrel? Read the charter of Hamas lately? Try starting with Article 7. Please find anything akin to that in Israel’s Constitution? We have Hamas, Hezbollah, PLO, ISIS, Al Qaeda just to name a few of those in our neighborhood….tell me again about the fish in a barrel story.
