Time to Outlaw and Abolish Organized Political Parties

Do you see why we have gridlock in Congress?  Do you see why the Super Committee failed miserably?  Do you see why we pay our politicians big bucks, yet they do nothing constructive?  It is because we have political parties that maintain a firm stranglehold around the necks of all elected politicians within their party.  Why does anyone want to run for political office if party bosses bully and order him or her to vote in lockstep the way they desire?

If we made organized political parties illegal and disbanded all of them, the elected politicians will be free either to vote their conscience or to vote the way the majority of their electors want them to vote.  They would be their own person instead of a pawn of their political party.  There would be no more political games in Congress.  Do you see why many politicians in the past quit in disgust?  It is because of the rotten politics played in Congress.  Politics is a blood sport in Congress.

Look at the elected politicians on the local city level.  They do not run under a political party.  They are not beholden to the Democrats or the Republicans when they run for office.  They are better able to vote their conscience or the desires of the majority of their voters.  That is the way it should be on the state and national levels.  We are a representative government for goodness sake!  Our representatives should be voting for “We the People” and the good of the country instead of for corrupt political parties.  All major political parties are corrupt.

We must restructure and change the government if we are to maintain a truly representative republic.  Let us get the ball rolling to take back the power from the major political parties and return it into the hands of the people.  Everyone running for office must run as an independent.  Elected officials will no longer be able to collude with other politicians to pool their votes.  They must vote their conscience or the way their voters want them to vote.  We must outlaw all lobbyists.  Nobody should be able to influence the vote of an elected official except the people who elected him or her.  Let us make the change now!
