FACEBOOK and their television counterparts CNN are fast losing face and the war of words as Russia Today sponsored newscasts publicly humiliates the two American counterparts for their fake news and censorship.

After receiving a 10 day Facebook block, the sassy hosts of Maffick Media’s IN NOW platform has torn to shreds the Orwellian masks from Facebook and CNN News Broadcasting.

The Maffick video IN NOW is still going viral, due largely to the vivacity of the Maffick program’s two stars’ spunky performances delivering at their witty best.

Their video IN NOW went on the counter-offensive in a response to their recent blacklisting from Facebook, a ban that was quickly lifted without explanation.

Mark Zuckerberg’s Facebook took down three pages operated by Maffick Media, which is partly owned by Russia Today subsidiary Ruptly, last Friday. The pages were restored as sneakily as they were taken down by FB for 10 days. There had been no warning, no explanation, and no violation of any terms by Facebook.

Facebook blocking and deleting accounts for the most innocent memes, has lost the corporation an estimated 3.8 billion users in the last-24-months. Facebook is far less relevant now than it was after it being founded in 2004.

Separately, a scary CNN headlined screamed “Russia is backing a viral video company aimed at American millennials” in a story published last week.

CNN’s story was not literally false, but it has not been news that Moscow partly funded IN THE NOW for three years. Nothing unusual in that, state-subsidised news corporations of the NATO West have constantly carried out a propaganda war against Free Russia since the collapse of Washington sponsored the Soviet Union.

According to reports, ‘CNN ran with it anyway and reported the fake information as if it was the result of a deep-dive investigation.  However, a quick Google search of IN THE NOW shows BuzzFeed’s report as one of the top results. Another report by ‘EU vs Disinfo’ published in May 2017 is headlined: ‘Russia Today goes undercover as In The Now, so it was hardly news at all. Nevertheless, CNN claimed in its lead that Maffick pages like IN THE NOW do not disclose that they are backed by the Russian government.

Fake news again: IN THE NOW started as a television show on Russia Today before American journalist Anissa Naouai decided to explore a less formal, digital format, a spokesperson for Russia Today told BuzzFeed back in in 2016.
